Can’t wait to see the difference maker Elway brings in to retard Swags growth on Monday

Give actual examples of this. In what tangible, non made up way has Elway slowed or reversed Kelly's development as a QB?

I’m told Kelly took this news very hard, he took it personally, Elway doesn’t believe in Swagg. That hurts Swagg, and it hurts Swagg nation

With what he has trotted out at the starter QB position the previous three years he truly has some balls saying this. Unfortunately, his balls aren't big enough to ride or die with Kelly, ehich is the right move

He ****ing gave the last pic of last year's draft the backup QB spot after 1 1/2 quarters of preseason play.

If that is enough to shake Kelly's confidence, than I don't want him on the team.

And kids, this poster is a good example of what syphallis does to the brain. Don't do drugs, and wrap up.

I mentioned this earlier. He's the only vet who still might have upside. Dude is still only 25, and looks fully healthy again.

Yup. Dorsey just couldn't leave the mocks alone, he had to shuffle the QB order.

The big issue I am hearing is that now that Chad Kelly is in playing against the 2s and Lynch against the 3s. The roles are reversing. Kelly doesn't look quite as good and Lynch looks a little bit better than he has... expected. Chad Kelly has more upside at this point and I believe in him to adjust, but I don't think he will do it in time to be the 2 this season.

I hope he trends upward in a hurry and is the 2 this year. He is fun to watch. But not looking good for the little "Swag Nation".

Yeah swag has a certain leadership quality you gotta love but beating out Lynch does not say too much about his long term career . This game could be huge for Swag. Show like Lynch last week he could fall back to #3 and Denver searches the trade market.
Huge week for Kelly.
Lynch is gone no matter what at the end of preseason

Just curious, did you hear that from USA Today or Predominately Orange?

Kelly doesn't have a lot of swag if this is really bumming him out. You'd think Lynch at the current 3 spot would be the one impacted.

If Elway brings in a vet, Lynch is gone. Only question for Swag is whether they keep 3 QBs or send him to practice squad (where he may well sign elsewhere).

Is Kelly afforded the opportunity to get comfortable/develop chemistry with the 2s? Two practices and that's it?

Forget about developing chad. we need scott tolzien, he completed a 9 yard pass when he started a game last year.

He is a vet QB

Dan Marino threw for 5,000 yards and super bowl in year 2. Chad Kelly is the same kind of dude. He's already seasoned and marinated. Play the kid now! Keenum is the perfect backup. Go Kelly! Super bowl or bust! Plan B all the way!!!! haha

No way in hell is Elway going to expose Kelly to the waiver wire. Unless he is a complete idiot

What part of Elway's comment was a problem? He pretty much said that Kelly doesn't have the No. 2 spot on lock, and that he still has to earn it. He still has to prove himself. If he doesn't, they'll bring in somebody else. He left the door open for the option of rolling with Kelly at No. 2, or going in a different direction. They gave Kelly the No. 2 spot for now, which he earned, but he hasn't proven that he can do the job when the season starts. I hope that Kelly does prove that he can do it, and that they should continue to develop him as the potential QB of the future. But it seems like some folks want to lock him into the position now. Let this play out. That's what it seems like Elway and the coaches are doing.

Especially when you consider all the records Elway set, still holds and the accolades he accomplished like SB wins, pro bowls and all pro.

Pass happy and no intimidating over the middle hits nor assaulting the WR's out of their breaks.
You are talking about 5,000 every year, 30+ TD's and possibly 400 yards rushing due to the defensive coverages.
