Default The Business of Broncos Thread

Recently in another thread there was discussion of a possible new stadium in a few years. This was brought up after noting that the Broncos are having a difficult time getting a sponsor for naming rights at Mile High after failed deals with Invesco, and Sports Authority. Remains to be seen if they are actively seeking a sponsor or if they fail to get a sponsor, what does that mean for the future of the Broncos current stadium?

Whatís also interesting is that the Broncos and the Stadium Authority were given 30 million dollars by HUD (United States Department of Housing and Urban Development) in December of 2016. In the award letter, it noted that the Broncos and the Football stadium have a $351 million dollar plan to develop a Broncos Entertainment District that surrounds the stadium. We are talking shops, residential, restaurants etc. and this means tailgating will be a thing of the past and one less place to take your RV.

But that was over a year ago and nothing has come about since the HUD award.

Invesco and Sports Authority were not 'failed deals'. Both companies went bankrupt after many years of sponsorship. Not the Broncos fault.

Iím not saying it was the Broncos fault, Iím just saying the deal failed. The Broncos arenít receiving any payment for naming rights right now. That has an impact.

When a new stadium gets built one day, it will be a retract dome stadium.

For example, a Super Bowl in Denver

I predict a new retractable domed stadium being built in the early 2030s, located eastern Denver metro in the DIA area.
