Massie, Daryl Williams and Ju'Waun James are FA's at RT, decent options. Veldheer is an okay stop gap if the money wasnt a ton.

The interior line is kinda ****ty for free agency though.
Paradis is the prototypical Kubiak center. We will absolutely pay him.

Leary canít stay healthy. Do you think they move on from both him and Garcia because of injuries?

I do like the death my inches, holding everyone accountable. The little things are what make great football teams.

I just hope he isnt a puppet for Elway/Kubiak and will have say in the coaching staff/roster, he has an eye for talent.

Itís honestly hard for me to see that guy as anyoneís puppet. I think he genuinely respects Kubiak, and honestly is relieved to not have to think anout the offense much. I still hate how Elway handled it though, and Iím still cringing at the memories of the last time I saw a Kubiak offense for the Broncos.

I know we went after Massie in free agency when he went to the Bears we settled on Donald Stephenson instead which was brutal. Massie is just average to me. I dont know what Williams for the Panthers is like but i have read that he is highly rated and a bit of a sleeper. I think i would go for Juwaun James or resign Veldheer in free agency.

Daryl Williams is pretty ****ing good, but he got hurt and didnt play alot if at all this year, dont totally remember.

We had a deal with Miami for James but they backed out. Would be a good add.

True. Plus he couldnít even read defenses in his first ever preseason game so he is obviously a bust.

And heís behind Siemian in Minnesota so clearly he is no good!

I don't think there is any questioning this guys D Coordinating chops and his relationship with the players.

However, being a DC and HC are very different things. I am still very much on the fence with a 60 year-old never to have been HC moving into that position.

His press conference did little to sway me and if anything reinforced my opinion that the guy may be in over his head. I hope I am wrong but right now I am just kind blah on this hiring.

He will be a massive upgrade over VJ as head coach and Woods as DC. It simply doesn't get worse than VJ.

Arians and Zimmer were similar ages when they got their first head coach jobs. Itís pretty obvious to me that his old-school persona just didnít fit the preconceptions of many teams. Plus it seems like DCís get less head coaching oppotunities in general.

Well yeah. Thanks for reminding me because this does of course make me feel a lot better. But that's an extremely low bar to have to jump over.

I think the biggest factor is players will respect a guy who knows what he's doing in his area of expertise. Everyone will help lift where he's weak if they know he's still learning but contributing big elsewhere.

Having leadership that has literally no record of actual success at anything is where things fall apart quickly.

Living in Minneapolis and having despised the Vikes since I moved here around the time of Denny Green, I do like Zimmer and his impact on the Vikes. Hopefully Fangio is that type of strong personality that can imprint his mark on a team. He just seemed a little un-head coach like but maybe he just needs time to grow into the role.

Not sure what youíre seeing. I saw a guy who will almost certainly command instant respect from the entire team. Thatís a head coach in my eyes.
