AZ was a mess last year, but I love Rosen's potential. I'd trade the first in a heartbeat for him, but the Broncos still wouldn't have an o-line to protect him. I like Kirk, too...if they're having a fire sale.

I think there's 4 QBs in this draft with more potential than Rosen. But, I see what your saying. I wouldn't do it though.i would low ball em. They are desperate.

Give Rosen an actual pro-level offensive line and I'd say Rosen is more NFL-ready than most in this (or the last) draft of those with a high ceiling.

Arizona wanted to hire somebody who could get the most out of Rosen. They stated that as their primary goal while they were searching for candidates.

Kingsbury is excited to work with Rosen. He isnít trading him.

McDaniels was excited to work with Cutler. Things happen.

Rosen was a very good QB in college.
I had him higher than Dalton.
With the right team both guys would be good and anyone is lying if they say either wouldn't put a higher ceiling in our QB room than we currently have.

That said... It ain't happening.
And besides.... I would rather have Lock, Grier, Haskins, Herbert, Murray, or Tua.

We will get a QB that isn't as prone to injury as Rosen IMO.

Hypothetically, if the Cardinals could draft Murray AND have a first round pick, it would make sense.

Now, Murray is listed at 5'11"?

From that photo here, it looks like Haskins showed up to the Heisman ceremony with his two kids, and it looks like Murray is way shorter than 5'11".

5'11" if you count to the top of his hair...

I bet if AZ was dumb enough to do this, that Rosenís agent would accommodate a trade to NYG or JAX. But it wouldnít be for a top 10 pick. They would finagle a 2020 pick or a high 2nd or a player AZ covets from those teams. Or some combination.
Who knows. Maybe Gruden gets in on this. Gets a new QB in Rosen, trades Carr. He has so much draft capital.

Rosen has three years left on his guaranteed rookie deal (not including the fifth year option). Rosen and his agent would have no leverage to determine where he goes.

I hear what you saying, but I bet they would at least try to accommodate Rosenís destination somewhat. I doubt the new regime would be full blown pricks to him. But when push comes to shove....

I'm sure if they had two offers that were close to the same, they would accommodate him. But if the offers weren't close, he'd have to live with it (just like he did on draft day, really).

That said, I don't think this happens. If the Cards had changed GMs in addition to HC, I could buy it. But Keim picked Rosen himself. Is he really going to move him after one season, basically acknowledging that he made a mistake? I don't see it. I'm sure a willingness to work with Rosen was part of the interviewing process for any candidate.

I agree. This is taking a step backwards to me. This team is already way out of step as it is.

They’re not going to trade Rosen. Just got done watching the offense Kliff ran at Texas tech. A lot of no huddle & in shotgun all the time. Reminds of how our offense ran with Manning. The kind of offense that would probably best cater to Rosen.

Like others here i'd be intrigued for a 2nd or a 3rd perhaps, but for our #10 pick I'd rather take the best QB available. I'm more optimistic about this year's draft class than I was a few weeks ago, so unless it goes crazy there should be someone good available. Also most rookie Qbs struggle their first year so this is the worst conceivable time for them to trade him. You decided he wasn't worth your first-round pick last year after all, so you want someone to give up their first-round pick for him? Good luck with that....

Still, at this point last year many weren't even sure if Mayfield was a first round pick or not, the likely draft value of players starts to become a lot clearer the nearer we get to April....then shocks can happen on the day , so we'll see
