Default Wouldn't it be pretty hilarious if the Rams lose this week?

It seems the entire NFL world (including fans, and including me) have pronounced that Mcvay is simply the wave of the future.

Normally, I cannot bring myself to cheer for the Cowboys, but it would be quite hilarious if the Rams (Mcvay) lose at home AGAIN in the playoffs.

Then again I just cheer for Philips.

Wouldn't mind seeing wade, talib, and CJ Anderson make another run at a ring.

The team that generates more big plays and points wins, and that formula is not exclusively tied to who runs it the most. The most amount of runs is the result of having a lead, not the cause of the lead.

McVay is a very good coach. But I think people are overstating his greatness. He walked into what looked like a big situation, but it really wasn't. There were pieces there, and he was given Wade Phillips to coach the defense. Then they loaded up this past offseason. I'd say that he has had a great impact on that team, but it's not all him. If he were hired by the Broncos or 49ers two years ago, I doubt he takes either team to the playoffs with the QB issues. Would Shanahan have taken this Rams team to the playoffs? Yes. Would Shanahan have taken the Broncos to the playoffs the last two years? Probably not.

The best possible outcome for us as Bronco fans is for PHIL to beat NO and DAL to beat LAR.
NFCCG
PHIL @ DAL.
If Foles could beat the hated Cowboys in Jerra World and take PHIL to another SB they would have to trade Wentz. Especially if Foles won another SB.
This is our best possible outcome.

So would the NFL. It validates LA as a football city.

As much as I truly, madly, deeply, hate the Chargers. I'd like to see Rivers win a ring...

AFTER I see Brees win a second!

if mcvay forgets to run the ball his brilliance will dim, unless he faces another chronic pass junkie like andy .

Just about every starting position is a first-round draft pick. You could almost argue that it was set up this way so they could win the super bowl on the field.

Living in Texas, the Cowboys fans would be unbearable. Don't think Dallas has much of a shot though. Rams will be fresh and ready to go.

As they went over this morning on the fan, the Rams have oodles of 1st and 2nd rounders on the roster. They have a ton of talent. You'd have to actually just be a very bad coach to NOT do well with it. I think he is a good coach, but we'll see long term.

How exactly is McVay is a great head coach?

I'm not saying he sucks or anything but I'm curious how folks measure/assign great head coaching vs being the coach of a team that's pretty loaded with talent and has a good record.

He's the hot flavor of the month.

I love how some of the same guys drooling over McVay are calling Kubiaks offense "old" and "the past" when they are basically the same thing. McKay just has much better players to run it.

I'm not saying McVay is a bad coach, and I'm pulling for them (Wade and Talib particularly).
