People donít know how to approach anything critical of Elway. It sends them into emotional hysterics.

If its valid. Hanging onto coaches under contract with the team until we have a HC to look them over to consider keeping them or not is not a valid thing to b**** about.

Meh, there's a fringe on both sides and they tend to be the most vocal. I think there are a lot of bronco fans who disapprove of several elway drafts, not reupping wade, and failing to bring in a franchise qb but still aren't willing to whine about every move that comes from dove valley

Allowng the new hc to keep the best assistants on staff is a smart move

Thatís the least of our worries. The entire approach to this just doesnít look good. Forcing Kubiak into every interview cuts your coaching pool. Any candidate that has a plan in place doesnít want to hear that. Most these candidates already have their own list compiled of who they want to be attached to coordinator wise. People theyíve been with.

Lower level coaches are positioning themselves across the league. Hereís a surprising(Action wonít think it is) example.

According to Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports, "A handful of NFL assistant coaches have indicated interest in joining a McDaniels-led coaching staff in Green Bay, according to sources who spoke to Yahoo Sports on Sunday. So much so that at least one has pulled his name from consideration for a college coordinator position."

And everything you are worried about has NOT happened yet, and has a likelihood of not happening at all. Thats why these threads cause headaches. We all know this time of year until training camp ends is nothing but GM and coach speak.

Every article from every fan blog and sports media is loaded with this bs. I caution patience and wait and see here before we all need to break out the maalox.

Thereís no way they arenít incorporating Kubiak. Itís blatant.

My one fear is Pagano. If that happens look out.

I don't want Kubiak here in a coaching capacity. Or Shanahan. I really do not want Pagano, or his brother here either. But until any of those things happen and become reality, I am reserving judgement. Literally hours after we fired Joseph, fan blogs were writing about which coach was the favorite before anyone in the FO interviewed them.

Lurching from article to article is a good way to get a migraine.

I'm gonna fear the worst based on what's happened since Elway took over (head coach hiring wise) until proven otherwise.....just sayin.

He had a problem with Wade, partly due to Kubiak in his ear about defensive locker room comments, partly because he supposedly didn't want to pay him, partly because of the woody for Woods. He could have made the effort for Wade.

So that means Wade was out of contract and Elway had 0 control over what Wade personally chose to do?

Good. Glad weíre all on the same page now, and whatís happening with Kubiak and the current staff isnít the same thing as happened with Wade, and you had no idea what you were taking about.

Five straight division titles. Two superbowl appearances, a superbowl win, two back to back losing seasons.

Yeah. Its been all terrible.

Yeah that's nice, but ever since that SB Elway lost, Peyton,Ware, Talib, Wade and it's been all downhill. He's a really good guy when it comes to bringing in big names but the big names dont want in here anymore. Pac Man? Brock? Keesum?

Jeez, that's a 180 right here.
Time to flush this turd and start the F over.
Elway F's up this offseason and it really will cost DEN 5-7 years of misery.

This experience has really made me notice other teams.
What the F is DET doing? I mean just how bad can it be? How does the owner accept such crap year in and year out? MIA same thing. They once had Marino!
Ever since then they've been pure poop.
It's scary cause this reminds me of that. I can't help but look at this like a miserable DET fan just going through the motions. Terrible.

Follow the conversation, chief. Soulless said this. Its not accurate. Two of the three HC's we have had to this point made the playoffs and had successful seasons. If he had said the Joseph hire casts doubt for him on Elway's ability to find the right guy going forward, that is a different, and more valid, discussion.

And you also cannot cut a GM's tenure into pieces to fit an argument. He's had success here and got it right. There is is just as much reason to think he can get it right going forward as there is to think he gets it wrong.

True, but he only got it right with Peyton so far.
Paxton Lynch -1st round BUST
Shane Ray - 1st round BUST
Bradley Roby - 1st round BUST

That right there gets a GM fired under ordinary circumstances.
I'm hoping he turns it around, but the trajectory of this team is spiraling downward, both engines on fire.

Ok, so hypothetically lets say Elway gets canned, do you trust Joe Ellis and co. to right the ship?
