Goff never took one snap from under center in college. He didnít even go into one huddle.

Which is one of the reasons that I desperately hope that we move on from Kubiak. I want a young HC and OC that are watching the college game closely. There is absolutely no point in spending a high value pick on a QB if you are going to turn about and make him stop doing all the things that made him successful up to that point. Few things in the NFL frustrate me more than a coach that attempts to force players into a scheme, rather than tailoring the scheme to maximize their talents.

Yep, his inability to deviate from the under center game severely limits the development of the type of QB's coming out now. His system isn't so great as to warrant shrinking or slowing down the QB pool.

Precisely why I donít want Kubiak as OC.

Yep. No one is trading out that pick cause mostly likely their the worst team that needs it. On the slight chance a team who doesnít need a QB would get a bus load of 1st round picks.

I remember during the 2012 Draft Holmgrem was the GM of the Browns at the time and basically tried offering Grigson the Browns entire 2012 draft for the number 1 pick. Indy wouldn't budge.

I honestly think even the Cardinals would draft him if he were coming out this year. They'd then turn around and trade Rosen. That's how unlikely a trade up for Lawrence is, assuming he continues on his current trajectory.

Does Haskins get to pick where he goes now?

Its not like he's going to do an Eli and refuse to sign with anyone else? That would only limit his market and decrease the chance a team moves up for him and lose him money.

Iím just sayin if NYG want him he wants them too, they can go and get him and DEN can focus on getting Lock. I think him saying who he doesnít want to play for says a lot. Haskins is from NJ.

I got Haskins at #10 and Thorson in the 7th round on Fanspeak's draft simulator. We're good guys.

You're only setting yourself up for disappointment if you focus on just one guy. We'd be lucky to get Haskins.
