This is a good point...but it's the same FO that just moved on from their hand picked HC after only one year....clearly a year to evaluate things is enough for them to move on if they decide it's not a go.

Kingsbury also really does seem like the kind of hire you make when you are about to go to the spread and get a QB that is adept at executing it....that is Haskins, not Rosen.

Also....if Arizona and you've decided to move on from Rosen...you aren't changing your mind because you thought you'd get a 2nd instead of 3rd....you are pleased to take what you can get on the market if that's a 3rd a 5th...whatever it is...because you've already accepted that you are eating that 2017 Round 1 pick and starting over with Haskins. Basically, you do not care what you get back in a trade once you go down the Haskins road.

Looking at Rosen's contract, he's not really tradeable.

14 mil dead money in 19, 10 mil in 2020.

5/5 in 21.

I dont see them moving from Rosen, best guess they take Bosa at 1, and be happy.

They will SPRINT to the commish and hand that Bosa card in. When Haskins declared the other day, (I think it was McShay) had him as 18th best overall prospect.

If I was them I'd try to trade back and accumulate picks. They have a lot of holes.

They do have a lot of holes, but think of where we would have been trading back from #2 in 2011 instead of taking Von.

Who cares where McShay ranks people?

Yeah, but they're the Cardinals and stupid and we're the Broncos and cool and stuff.

It'd be good for the Broncos if he's hired, right? We wouldn't have to pay his salary?

if he's a coordinator, then we only pay the difference.

We're free of his salary if he gets a HC gig, but i'm guessing someone else gets the Cincy job and he's a DC somewhere.

Not sure salary wise what happens in that instance.
