Why, because of Kingsbury or Rosen? I tried to tell you it wouldn't be surprising to see Kingsbury accept the Arizona job, Aga.

Because college coaches are already a high risk hire, and they are usually highly successful at the college ranks at least. With Kingsbury you have a guy with a mediocre college record taking over an absolute dumpster fire of an NFL team. And all to support a QB who isn't even that good...yeah this is probably going to be a mess.

Imagine that college team had Davis Webb (3rd round pick), Baker Mayfield, and Pat Mahomes on the same team and had those records?

I mean, he's 1-2 passing in the NFL for 17 yds. That counts, right?? In a game where Denver won 27-0.

They'll probably fill the stadium better than the Chargers did.

After what Reid has done with Mahomes, Pat should be asking Kliff why he wasn't the 1st pick in the draft.

....hypothetical question....especially for Denver folks....Arizona is picking 1/1. What if they look at Haskins and decide that they want to do that instead of continuing with Rosen?

Seems a little out there, but the moment Haskins declared it was the first thing I thought of....don't look at it like you are bound to Rosen, but that you are in a position to choose Rosen or Haskins...(and to me you go with Haskins) ....if they see it like that and want to move on from Rosen...

A) who would trade for him and what would the asking price be?
B) As a Bronco fan...is that something you'd consider?

I think Rosen sucks, so no thanks. Not that that has any chance of happening.

I'd be willing to put a wager on Haskins to Arizona. 50? 100?

I don't bet. Too bad too, because that's easy money.

Me neither but no way do I see the Cards giving up on Rosen. This hire was clearly made with Rosen in mind, imo.

....I don't know....If you think Haskins = Mahomes and you think Rosen = Needs to develop and didn't show much (granted his line was a bunch of backups) ....I go cold blooded business and draft Haskins then auction off Rosen to the highest bidder...he'll have a market....Haskins...and then what in this draft? ....a bunch of guys who are question marks every bit as much as Rosen still is. Someone would be willing to roll the dice on Rosen...

Miami comes to mind right away. ....Tennessee should be interested in moving on from Mariotta, but they won't. A wild card would be the Saints...Brees is old...Bridgewater won't be resigned...they don't have the hier apparent (Taysom Hill is NOT the hier) ....you get Rosen on the cheap...

If the Cardinals had a new FO in place I could see it as a possibility, but, as it is, they have invested a high pick into Rosen and are going to try to get value out of it. Plus that team has A LOT of other needs.

Kimgsbury should be able to make Rosen serviceable with one-read quick passes, but AZ is going to set their team back several years if there is a real franchise QB in this draft that they pass on.

Cardinals would be dumb to not pick Bosa.

Cardinals should take Bosa and run, he's arguably better than his brother.

Not a chance they give up on Rosen this soon, this hire was made with Rosen in mind.

Honestly though, taking Haskins and then auctioning off Rosen would make sense, but NFL teams arent that smart or ballsy.

Certainly the weirdest and balliest hire of the hires so far.

Assuming the other teams actually hire guys who have been in the NFL before of course.

Itís not out of the realm. This new staff will want their own choice. Not someone elseís choice who was fired. Haskins and Kingsbury is a better fit. If they came into that interview with a total new direction(which is likely) anythingís possible.

Thereís plenty of reasons to choose AZ or the Jets, but choosing Rosen over Darnold? There could be a different window appearing come spring.

Same thing I said a month ago. If Kingsbury thinks any of these guys in the 2019 draft is a franchise QB, AZ would be idiots to pass.

Well that isnt so bad after watching last nights game. Puts you in position for a real QB with a new staff.

Rosen probably wouldn't fetch more than a 3rd right now. Moving him would be the very definition of selling low.

The FO is the same, so I really donít see it happening.
