Well now we get it. This was all about his son. I guess we didn't want Klint to be our QB coach.

NO klint already had the job.
This is about the vikes seeing an opportunity and making the best of it.
IIt is obvious JFE and GFK had a falling out. It could be about dennison / munchak it could be about KEENUM, we really dont know !
2 weeks ago it was posted here that GFK was OUR HC !
and 4 2 weeks we ran with it like it was gospel.

It's time for Sloter to make his play for Cousins' job.

No, he's horrible. That's why he never sticks without Kubiak.

Kubiak is just a branch of the Shanahan tree. Just like Kyle, McVay, LaFleur, Lynn, and now Scangarello. Kubiak, the branch, is trying to bear fruit with Klint.

4. He's not a specialist. He's coached special teams, QBs, OL, and then as OC, back to QB coach, OL coach, then OC again. He is the definition of a career coach who keeps getting jobs because of who he knows rather than what he knows.

Finally Dennison doesn't create/scheme plays. These guys are on record as saying that Dennison essentially knows Kubiak's terminology/playbook so well that they communicate together quickly with signals/gestures as he relays his view from the box higher up to Kubiak.

Kubiak got Dennison his first job as quality control coach which is essentially an errand boy in Denver and is like his own PA more than a coach.
1. Don't forget that Dennison made Kubiak tell him the play, after which Dennison would relay the play to the QB, while here in Denver.
2. Dennison is also the one who essentially ended Peyton Manning's career. Elway wanted them to play Schofield, so they played Schofield (without giving him any help), causing Manning's 2015 injury after being hit about 12 times from the right side.
3. Dennison also refused to properly evaluate Lynch, leaving the job to VJ.

Good analysis ... makes sense.

Gotta wonder why Kubiak feels so linked with Dennison he's willing to walk away.

Obviously Elway's mind was set ... he really stood tough on this. Couldn't have been easy for him.

Dennison was one part of that RIDICULOUS three-person play-calling process a couple years ago, too ... horrible idea with a newbie like Siemian at QB. Gotta give those youngsters every second you can.

Looking at his position coaching history, it definitely seems like he was OC in name only.

But he was OC of a Super Bowl champ ... couldn't he get a decent job on his own?

I think Kubiak is sub-consciously doing it for self-preservation. His brain knows that without Dennison he would most likely get another stroke from all the extra work.

Kubiak and Dennison are basically Master Blaster beyond thunderdome.

Now that I think of it, you kind of remind me of Blaster. Who’s your Master? They should post here instead.

I remember hearing about that at the time and just being blown away by the sheer stupidity of it.

Well, you could say that got him the job in Buffalo he was fired from after one season.

There I go again, behind in my reading. Didn't realize he was in Buffalo before the Jets.

But I don't get it, Vikings gave Stefanski the OC job - Kubiak and Dennison are both offensive "advisors"? Wtf is an offensive advisor?

Why so many cooks? Maybe somebody's scared Kirk Cousins is gonna bankrupt that franchise before he wins a playoff game .
