Every time I question if I can love Cashman any more...he does **** like this and then I'm like "Damn I love having Cashman as GM of the Yankees."

Stanton, Judge & Hicks...yummy. Though one has to wonder, does Frazier get moved in the deal or does he move to DH? Hmm...

It's a standard contract. 3 years of pre-arbitration, 3 years of arbitration, 6 years of team control. Can sign a contract extension at any point.

Eppler...man, dude is ****ing balling this off-season, owning international free agency.

And he beat out our former GM DiPoto in SEA to get Ohtani.

Dude should have been a GM before last year. He was waiting on Cashman to get kicked upstairs to a president of baseball ops position but Cashman loves the day to day grind too much.

Something tells me the Angels will have a deep farm system very soon. Eppler is a beast.

Apparently the Marlins are really motivated to get a deal done with the Yankees. Denbo knows all of the players in the Yankees system so he is likely to love a lot of those pieces.
Starlin Castro and Ellsbury have been talked about in the deal but Ellsbury's contract in a non starter for the Marlins

One way or the other Stanton is going to be a Yankee. When The Cashman makes a push, he gets what he wants.

None of the Yankees top prospects are involved in the discussions.
So that must mean top 15-20 prospects and none of the top 10. Hell, might not even be top 15.

I came into the off-season lusting for Ohtani, likely to leave the off-season with Stanton.

Is there more of a trash sports franchise than the Miami Marlins?

This organization continuously spits in the faces of their few fans.

The Marlins won the World Series twice, but the fans couldn't even enjoy it because they had fire sales each time while the confetti was still on the stadium grass.

This franchise has sued fans in court, fleeced the public for $900 million in stadium funds by lying about their financials and has fired employees while they're fighting for their lives on a hospital bed.

The first defining move of new owners Derek Jeter and Bruce Sherman is to dump reigning MVP and home run champ Giancarlo Stanton. Jeter and Sherman already showing they're way over their heads, they overextended themselves and went into debt to buy the team.

It makes me wonder if MLB would have even approved the purchase if Golden Boy Jeter wasn't involved.
