Default Will we set a new losing streak record for the franchise?

Our all time losing streak is 11 games.

https://sports.yahoo.com/news/here-a...153006700.html

Denver Broncos
Losing streak: 11 games
When: Nov. 3, 1963 to Oct. 4, 1964
The skinny: In their early days, the Broncos were among the annual bottom dwellers of the AFL. One reason they sucked in 1963 was that they had the fewest passing yards in the that season and allowed 473 points — second-most all time for a 14-game season. The Broncos allowed 40 passing touchdowns on defense, a record that was not broken until the 2015 Saints stole that record. The Broncos’ head coach was Jack Faulkner, and it was truly an “As I Lay Dying” type of season. They closed out on an 0-9-1 run and opened up with an 1-8 mark.

The team was extremely close to being sold and shipped to Chicago to play second fiddle to the Bears (and play in Comiskey Park, imagine that) before the deal was nixed. And though it would be many years before the Broncos reached the playoffs — the “Orange Crush” Super Bowl team of 1977 — their fans would be very glad they stayed put.

Here's the remaining schedule:

Patriots
Bengals
@ Raiders
@ Dolphins
Jets
@ Colts
@ Redskins
Chiefs

The only two possible wins I see on there are Bengals and Jets just because we're at home. But we're theoretically looking at breaking another record 50 years in the making.

Eh, at this point if we are going to tank, do it in spectacular fashion.

Records that I've never heard of or thought of don't really do much for me.

If we're hoping for a high pick, get the highest possible. That will help the team more going forward than avoiding some nebulous stat no one cares about.

That said, they'll win a few more games. The defense has been bad today no doubt, but they are too good to not at least pull out a win or two.

Well if we're going to tank and flame out, we absolutely need to start Lynch. If there's something there (there isn't) we'll see. More importantly, it will close the book on that mistake draft pick and we can all reboot next season.

I agree, and I'd be shocked if he doesn't start once he is physically ready.

When we win our next 2 at home we will be 500 with 6 winnable games left on the schedule. Think positive. In reality i think we will finish 7-9.

May get a victory versus KC, if they rest their starters. The win will cost us to drop 4 draft picks. Seems about right!

This. Start Lynch, even if the Broncos lose, they win the draft, and get high pick.

I wouldn't be shocked to see the Broncos win next week. I know that sounds crazy, but it's been a weird season.

Even if that doesn't happen, I think they'll manage to pull out a game or two before the season is over. Maybe when someone takes them a little too lightly or when the refs take mercy on them to keep the image of parity.

But make no mistake about it, we're going to lose most of the remaining games. The talent isn't there. The coaching isn't there. We have no answers and it's going to get worse as injuries deplete us.

Any given Sunday. One never really knows.
And even when it doesn't matter, I'll still cheer for a Bronco's victory.

Next week we could see the Broncos from game one.
Might end Crybaby's goatness, & career with a rugged hit.
Might still loose by 35+.

Hell it is possible we see the Chorfs go spiraling down and hand us the division if we can somehow make it to 9-7 and hold off the Faiders & Chuggers.

It's also possible that alien technology is inside the hidden chamber of the great pyramid. Unlikely, but possible.

One never knows until one sees. But the evidence isn't in the Bronco's or Alien's favor thus far.

Saddly, what I've seen up to this point.... Sucks.

I blame coaching, Because Kubes had the same QBs, a broken run game, a weaker D-line, a weaker 0-line and mostly the same skill players. Yet he had us in the fight until the last two weeks, or better. And that was with an ancient figured out stagnant playbook theory.

On FB, I wanted to mark myself as "SAFE" from the 4 game Dumpster Fire that the Broncos are currently serving up. I'm not on suicide watch, I'm on college QB and new head coach watch!! My vote is no.

Nothing new here. I mentioned a 5 game skid after NY CF. This team is garbage.

I don't think Belichick will lose to Brock a second time. Or Lynch a first time. And if the D doesn't show up again we'll get blown out.

We'll secure the number one draft spot and then win the last game and lose it.
