Default Saquon Barkley = Barry Sanders?

This guy is a rare talent. I doubt he will last to Denver, but if he's there, you have to take him.

He's a generational player, IMO. I think he's potentially the first true star RB in the league since the Barry Sanders/Terrell Davis/Marshall Faulk/LaDanian Tomlinson periods.

He is a more talented Ezekiel Elliott ...he doesn't compare to Sanders at all.

No, you do not take a RB that high.

Only undisciplined GMs do that.

What was Barry Sanders playoff record?

Hes a big play game-changing back who can dominate.

The guy has feel, instincts, and vision like you rarely see anymore. Ewok Elliot is no comparison.

I would have no problem with that. In FA, I would like Cousins and Solder. Then just BPA.

Agreed.

I think he'll go to the Browns at 1 or the Giants.

Browns can afford to snag this guy 1st overall and grab their pick of the remaining QBs at 4.

Yep: I agree, Saqoun is long gone: that being said, Minkah is special. Dude is a freak athlete. Probably not a huge need for us, but corners can play into their mid 30ís. Solves one side for a long time.

Oliver from Boulder would be nice with the second pick.

at the folks who wouldn't take Saquon if we are lucky enough that he falls to 5 (he won't).

We have had nobodies with inconsistent production at this position for too long.

We haven’t had a game changer in the backfield since Portis so I wouldn’t mind taking Barkley if available

If Barkley is there at 5 (he won’t be) the Broncos have to take him because he’s a game changer. He’s an immediate impact player who touches the ball 25 times a game and has a chance to score a TD every time he touches the ball.

Donít see same system in place that made Portis a stud.

If the Browns do it right, they'll take Barkley #1 and then whatever QB they like best that's left at #4.

No doubt Barkley is a damn animal out there. Catches well out of the backfield too.

Elway would draft OL over Barkley he is a need safe drafter. Barkley is a bold pick not his style and him and Kubes are still in 98 mode mid round RB's.

Thatís as bad as the Nuggets taking LaFrentz over Vince Carter. You simply donít make those kind of mistakes. My guess is, if Elway didnít want Barkley, another team would, and heíd trade down. No way he takes another player over Barkley, heíd lose all credibility.
