But keep crying and b****ing about interceptions. You just sound like an idiot.

Hell, even in that Super Bowl against the Saints, it wasn't a terrible game outside of one bad throw (that may have been some sort of miscommunication). His team certainly didn't help him every step of the way in that game. Had they just recovered that onsides kick, or if that field goal was made prior to NO's go ahead drive, he might be a two time winner.

Also, you didn't answer the question. In your mind, is Elway a 2 time super bowl champ? He sucked in the 97 super bowl.
OMG open your eyes fan. Manning is gutless. He used to start crying when he would see a snowflake in NE. Not a leader, sorry to break your heart.

What is with you guys? Two things can be true. He can have playoff issues while also having success. Writing off his entire career because he didn't live up to your expectations doesn't mean you should discredit his accomplishments.

I do, it's that thing that has no bearing on the team, its staff, or its performance on the field, indeed the entire franchise.

What were you saying again about Tebow's "freak show" and the affect it has on a franchise, and then how one of the relevant points was how capably the Jets "forum" handled it?

I have seen enough. At some point you just have to let go.

Great regular season guy, awful clutch QB. The record speaks for itself.

He has created so many painful memories for me beginning with his time as a Colt. He is a curse.

So did we trade Chrissy for this never ending thread?

I'll take a Tebow back and forth hoopla garbage thread always showing up on top of 1st page over the last 5 months of insanely stupid/wrong posts by one person(couple profiles)

Here's my take. Tebow still sucks!

Other than Rodgers and Brady I have a hard time seeing several QBs ahead of Luck.

edit: (talking about Manning)
But some people can't let go. It's literally in their DNA to think this way. And they're not only wired this way , but continually conditioned to self reinforce these propensities.

I'll bet that if someone made a list here breaking down those who are ready to move on vs. those who refuse to let go... the two groups would mirror their political ideologies in the conservative/progressive mindset.... all the way up to Elway himself.

Freaky how the mind works

I would love to have Tebow on the Broncos, just not as a qb.

I think I posted in the wrong thread. I meant to be talking about Manning.

That's what I get for having a dozen browsers open and walking away for half an hour.

I'm not saying it's 100%. Nothing is. There will always be outliers. I myself would be considered an outlier on Tebow.

I tend to doubt there's much of a correlation.

Elway was always much more than his statistics. In our first Super Bowl win he inspired the team with his fierce determined play even if he wasn't having a great day statistically. On the other hand all Manning is his statistics. He offers nothing else.

Can't we just all agree that Tebow was a developmental player that wasn't given the time or proper training to develop? He had the tools that can't be learned. We can leave the Manning talk for the other dozen threads.

Tebow had his moments but just wasn't good enough throwing the football. I have shot under par before but that doesn't mean that's my normal game either.

Why would he try to change him? Tebow was a great college player, breaking records, winning a Heisman and helping the Gators win two BCS titles.
