Default Brandon Browner charged with attempted murder

Browner's twisted roller-coaster career story started in Denver, ended with Super Bowl wins in Seattle and New England.

Now he's charged with numerous felonies including attempted murder.

Even before this, his career could have been a 30 minute NFL Network special all on its own. Several precedents set in his efforts to play NFL football.

Started career in Denver for a year+, never activated
Went to CFL couple-three years
Fought through union red tape after not paying union dues
Ended up in Seattle - started Legion of Boom (w Sherman, Chancellor, Earl Thomas)
Won Super Bowl vs Denver
Moved to NE, won next year's SB vs. Seattle
Out ot league a year later

The drama goes back even further. I remember the predraft hype when he was briefly projected as a first rounder. There was all this buzz about a 6'5" corner who runs a 4.3. He ends up running like a 4.7 or something and goes undrafted. I thought we had such a steal on our hands when we got him!

Busted for PEDs and personifies everything that is wrong with the NFL. Part of Seattle's Defense that found short-lived success by playing outside the rules. Them it all came crashing down.

What was outside the rules?

I remember after his second SB, he and Sherman were all up in each others' grills, almost started swinging. They said it was nothing, but I think it was definitely something.

That is why Belly loved him. He knows that the refs won't call every infraction so he loves players willing to play dirty.

"Smother her in a carpet?" Doesn't he watch Forensic Files? That never works.

Maybe that's why he benched Malcolm Butler in the Super Bowl, too much of a goody-goody player.

Or else maybe he wanted to lose the game. One or the other.

1. Deliberate illegal downfield contact on every play designed in because coaches knew refs would not call a flag on every play. They even admitted it.
2. Deliberately hitting players after they were down in an attempt to intimidate. Wolfe's lingering neck injury is a prime example.
3. Deliberately lining up in the Neutral Zone on every play, to give an unfair advantage against the run. They were already past OL in gaps. Finally started getting called for it in playoffs against the Packets, with like 4 penalties in a row. I noticed it the year prior in SB preparation.

NE cheats off-field to gain an unfair advantage. Seattle cheats on-field to gain an unfair advantage.
