IFFFFFFF we started SwaGoat it would be possible, imo
We have no idea if Kelly would be any good. He'll probably would be better than Keesum, but most QBs this year are better than Keesum. Goat? I think people have ridiculous expectations for Swag were he to play. We've seen him play 0 plays against starters in the NFL. He could be great. He could be a perennial backup. He could be one of those guys that constantly gets turnovers trying to make the next great play.

I still would rather see him over Case, but I'd also not be super surprised if he did, and we lost 50% of our games with him in his first 2 years. Like most rookies when they start playing real games.

It hasn't been ideal so far....but in reality this has been a far superior start than last season...reversed record aside.

Take the Chargers for example. Sitting nice at 4-2, but look at their schedule so far as well. Their wins are against opponents with a combined record of 6-17 .353 win%. Their losses are against Rams and KC, the same 2 teams we lost to, but we were far more competitive in both.

By game 7 last season we already had the Giants blow out (2nd worst team in NFL), and were shut out by the Chargers.

Playoff talk is more than a little hopeful, but that said. Didn't most people think this was going to be a 7-9 win team going into this season, improving with the hope of taking the next step with a bit of a youth infusion next season? That looks to be an accurate expectation, and with a couple of decent bounces...that couldmean a Wildcard.
We are 5-2 and Joey Bosa has not played in any of them yet and it has showed as our pass rush hasn't been there as often and changes the things they could do on defense because we don't have anybody close playing his possition that can do what he can do and it causes Ingram to get double teamed. Things will better when he finally gets in the lineup.

Where would your defense and team be with out Von Miller? Perhaps worse than 3-4? Think about how different your defense would do things. Shane Ray is virtually a bust so he isn't picking up the slack......and we don't even have a backup like Shane Ray. We lack depth at DE badly.

Some people like to bend reality. SD is among the top teams in the afc and barring injury will most certainly be in the playoffs.

Also Rivers is playing out of his mind - he has 17 TD's and only 3 Ints. Who would you bet on down the stretch Rivers or Keesum?

What does any of this have to do with what I said?

I just mentioned that because you said the Broncos by far much better against the Rams and Chiefs than we did.....which doesn't matter anyways. Every game against the same teams is a different game plan , but I'm just saying we have played every game without our best pass rusher and imagine your team doing that without Miller.

And our defense didn't give up all 38 points, they returned a punt for a TD on us as well......as usual.

I don't expect to see Kelly unless Keenum is injured or until after the team sustains its 9th loss on the season.

I seriously doubt that we're going to get anywhere near the playoffs, but stranger things have happened, so, in the meantime, just kick back and try to enjoy the success and development of some of the younger players.

The Broncos are 3-4. The Bengals currently hold the last spot at 4-3..... yeah it is impossible for Denver to make the playoffs

texans just won 4 straight. seriously, the problem with this team and its fan base is apathy and confidence. just want it to be easy.

The reason the titans lost by one is because Vrabel rolled the dice with seconds to go and decided to go for two instead of the tie with a PAT. The pass went incomplete.

Hey, welcome to NFL relevance, Bob.

You do realize that having a franchise QB is just a ticket to the dance, don't you? Whole lotta **** can go wrong once the playoffs begin. I probably shouldn't have to tell you that, but it's better that you hear that and really understand that now because it will make it easier later on.

As long as Keesum is our starter this is the type of posts we will make. Wouldn't it be cooler to be like, "**** You" we're winning the division, but no, we're on the outside looking in.

You guys are all so crazy. There are THREE 4-3 teams ahead of us for the last wild card spot, PLUS three 3-4 teams who would also all be ahead of us at this point due to tiebreakers. We’re basically in the #12 spot in the AFC right now, with the bulk of our schedule and majority of games on the road still to come. I still stand by my avy bet for any clowns who are foolish enough to think that Denver is making the playoffs with VJ and Keemian.

Yeah that is a gutsy call. If you have to pass on the two point conversion DON'T go for it.

1 game back.. math is math.. Denver needs to win the games they need to win. Beat KC, sweep SD and the picture looks a whole lot different does it?

Kelly May get some late season games
The Houston game will determine when Denver writes off this season
KC will win the division
Chargers should get a wild card
Leaving on spot among about 5 teams
That lost to chiefs and/or jets hurt
