Broncos signed DT Clinton McDonald to a two-year contract.

McDonald had a falling out with the Bucs last year but still managed five sacks in a sub-package role. He'll give Denver an interior rusher to pair NT Domata Peko. McDonald should also see snaps at end in Denver's 3-4 scheme.

Lions signed NT Sylvester Williams, formerly of the Titans.

Williams was cut by the Titans this past weekend and quickly lands on his feet in Detroit where he figures to play the old Alan Branch role in new coach Matt Patricia's defense as an early-down run stopper. Williams turns 30 later this year.

Restricted free agent Cameron Meredith will visit the Ravens on Thursday.

They're also hosting RFA Willie Snead. Meredith's had a hotter than expected market after missing all of 2017 to ACL surgery. He would join a three-wide set of Michael Crabtree and John Brown in Baltimore.

Free agent WR Dontrelle Inman visited the Colts.

Inman has ties to Colts OC Nick Sirianni, who was his position coach in Los Angeles. He also met with Dallas this week.

Free agent TE Logan Paulsen visited the Falcons.

It's the second visit of free agency for Paulsen after he met with Detroit. Paulsen played just 144 snaps for the 49ers last year but is one of the better blocking tight ends in the league.

Not really.

I was looking for the average here: https://overthecap.com/position/4-3-defensive-tackle/

Two of the NFL's highest defensive linemen in a 4-3 are Marcell Dareus @ $15.85 million and Malik Jackson @ $14.25 million. Some bullets Im happy the team missed.

It's essentially the inflation version of the contract Crick signed back in 2016(that was 2 years 4 mil).

So not much at all.

Ravens need to sign Meredith, though Chicago might match. The FO really likes Meredith.

Cowboys signed LB Joe Thomas, formerly of the Packers.

A key reserve and special teamer in Green Bay, Thomas was surprisingly not tendered by the Packers as a restricted free agent. He'll compete for snaps with Damien Wilson behind Jaylon Smith and Sean Lee in Dallas' linebacker corps.

Raiders signed LB Emmanuel Lamur, formerly of the Vikings.

Lamur, 29 in June, has bounced between the Bengals and Vikings since entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State. In Oakland, Lamur will compete for a special teams role and backup snaps at linebacker.

Falcons signed TE Logan Paulsen to a one-year contract.

Paulsen had a limited role in Kyle Shanahan's offense with the 49ers last year. He should see more playing time in Atlanta, where he'll replace blocking TE Levine Toilolo. Paulsen's signing upgrades the Falcons' run game.

Colts re-signed RB Christine Michael.

Michael spent 2017 on IR after a minicamp injury. He'll add some competition behind Marlon Mack with Frank Gore gone. Michael has starter traits but has never been able to put it together. He should be ready for OTAs.

Free agent Terrelle Pryor is expected to sign with the Seahawks or Jets.

The Browns were in on Pryor early, but look to be out of the running. Seattle would give Pryor his best chance at rebuilding his value, though the Jets offer a clear path to snaps. Pryor should only require a one-year deal.

PFF ranked him average, and we desperately need WR depth.

I watched him, and I tell you he ( Pryor) sucked. He has limited route tree and when he runs across the middle he alligator arms everything.

Wallace i guess would help but i think Denver wants to get younger there.

And yeah, Pryor was pretty ass in Washington.

Cowboys signed WR Allen Hurns, formerly of the Jaguars, to a two-year contract.

ESPN's Josina Anderson first reported that Hurns told her he's "going to sign with Dallas". Hurns is an immediate upgrade to a Cowboys receiving group that's desperate for depth. Terrance Williams' $3.5 million salary is guaranteed but Hurns could challenge him as starter opposite of Dez Bryant from the moment camp opens. Hurns also led Jacksonville in routes run from the slot last season and could immediately trump Cole Beasley, who's entering the final year of his deal. The Cowboys are in dire need of another playmaker after they inexplicably cut bait on Brice Butler and his average 21.1 yards per catch last season.

Panthers signed CB Ross Cockrell, formerly of the Giants, to a two-year, $6.8 million contract.

Cockrell didn't receive real opportunity with the Giants in 2017 until the latter half of the year when Janoris Jenkins was lost to injury and both Eli Apple and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie were in and out of the lineup. Cockrell recorded a league-high three interceptions over the final two weeks of the season. He joins Da'Norris Searcy as new additions to the Panthers' secondary.

Panthers signed OL Jeremiah Sirles, formerly of the Vikings, to a one-year contract.

Sirles has experience at guard and tackle but will likely replace Andrew Norwell at left guard. Sirles played in 28 games and made 14 starts for the Vikings the last two seasons, with most of his time coming at left guard.

Seahawks signed DT Tom Johnson, formerly of the Vikings, to a one-year, $2.1 million contract.

The deal could be worth as much as $2.7 million with incentives. Johnson totaled 32 tackles and two sacks for the Vikings last season and now looks to replace Sheldon Richardson on Seattle's interior line. Outside of Richardson, who the team coincidently lost to Minnesota, Johnson is the only defensive tackle the Seahawks visited with during free agency. Signing him was the cost-friendly route considering they offered Richardson $6.5 million.

Panthers signed S Da'Norris Searcy, formerly of the Titans, to a two-year contract.

Searcy made an appearance in all 16 games for the Titans last season but was expendable with All-Pro Kevin Byard and free-agent pickup Johnathan Cyprien still on the team. With Kurt Coleman released, the Panthers' top two safeties are Searcy and 36-year-old Mike Adams.

Jets agreed to terms with WR Terrelle Pryor, formerly of the Redskins.

A mammoth bust — 20 catches for 240 yards — with the Redskins last season, Pryor will start over with a Jets receiver corps low on depth and dealing with off-field issues with No. 1 Robby Anderson. Pryor is also joining a team with quarterback question marks, as a highly-drafted rookie will join injury-prone Josh McCown and fifth-year mystery man Teddy Bridgewater. Going on 29, Pryor still offers theoretical upside, but expectations should be low after last year's debacle.

Bears re-signed CB Sherrick McManis to a two-year contract.

A core special teamer, McManis has played just 49 snaps on defense over the past two seasons.

Rams signed ILB Ramik Wilson, formerly of the Chiefs.

A 2015 fourth-rounder, Wilson has played more than 130 snaps one time in three years. He will provide depth/options at a soft spot for the Rams' defense.

Titans signed G/T Kevin Pamphile, formerly of the Bucs, to a one-year contract.

Although capable of playing all five spots on the line, Pamphile settled in at guard the past two seasons. He wasn't particularly effective but provides experienced, versatile depth in case the Titans lose LG Quinton Spain in restricted free agency.

Free agent WR Jordan Matthews visited the Packers on Thursday.

The Packers are still looking to add a body at receiver after releasing Jordy Nelson. Recovering from knee and ankle operations, 25-year-old Matthews has made just one other visit to date. It's possible he's still not far along enough in his recovery to merit contract offers.

Eagles signed WR Mike Wallace to a one-year contract.

Rotoworld's No. 10 free agent receiver, Wallace will keep ex-Eagles WR Torrey Smith's deep-ball specialist seat warm while second-year pro Mack Hollins continues to develop. Going on 32, Wallace hasn't been a genuine game-breaker for quite some time but still averages 14-15 yards per catch while commanding defensive respect. Durable and more versatile than he's given credit for, Wallace is

The Seahawks' trade for CB C.J. Smith has been nullified by the NFL.

Reasons for the nullification are unknown, but it's possible Smith failed his physical. He will revert to the Browns' 90-man roster for the time being.

Raiders re-signed QB E.J. Manuel.

Manuel, 28, beat out Connor Cook for the Raiders' backup quarterback job last season and made an October spot start against the Ravens, predictably struggling mightily in a 30-17 defeat. Manuel will again compete with Cook and journeyman Josh Johnson for the primary backup job behind Derek Carr.

Seahawks re-signed DE Marcus Smith to a one-year contract.

The deal is worth "up to" $2.7 million. Smith, 26, was the 26th overall pick in the 2014 draft, selected by then-Eagles coach Chip Kelly. A whipping boy in Philadelphia and poster child for the ultimately-failed Kelly era, Smith did little of note across 250 snaps with the Seahawks last year. He's being brought back to compete for playing time as a situational pass rusher.

Raiders signed OT Breno Giacomini, formerly of the Texans.

Giacomini, 32, was abysmal as the Texans' starting right tackle last year, grading out 83rd among 83 qualified tackles at Pro Football Focus and allowing nine sacks, second most in the NFL. PFF charged Giacomini with 64 QB hurries allowed, most in the league by any offensive lineman by a margin of 15 hurries. The Raiders continue to make head-scratching moves on new coach Jon Gruden's watch.

Giants released WR/KR Dwayne Harris.

The move saves $2.45 million in cap space. Primarily a special teamer, Harris collected over $10 million across three years with the Giants despite managing one reception the past two seasons. He missed all but five games last year with a broken foot. The 30-year-old may resurface on a minimum-salary deal.

Packers signed CB Tramon Williams, formerly of the Cardinals.

Williams returns to Green Bay after spending his first nine NFL seasons there, then bouncing from the Browns to Arizona the past three years. Williams solidified the Cardinals' No. 2 corner job across from Patrick Peterson in 2017, but he just turned 35 and is a short-term fix at best. The Packers became desperate at cornerback after the Bears matched their offer sheet to Kyle Fuller.

Patriots re-signed OT LaAdrian Waddle to a one-year contract.

Waddle, 26, made five starts at right tackle for last year's Patriots, struggling mightily as a pass blocker and eventually losing his job to Cameron Fleming after Marcus Cannon's year-ending ankle injury. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport called Waddle an "option" to replace Nate Solder as the Patriots' starting left tackle. New England would be smart to add competition in April's draft.

Dolphins signed RB Frank Gore to a one-year contract.

The Dolphins' strange offseason moves and stockpiling of aging veterans are reportedly aimed at "changing the culture" inside their locker room. Gore, who turns 35 in May, played his college ball at the University of Miami and reportedly wanted to finish his career back home. Gore has averaged below 4.0 yards per carry in three straight seasons and is no longer a passing-game threat. If this is the Dolphins' final running back addition, it will be good news for Kenyan Drake's fantasy value. Drake is a much more explosive option and flashed feature back capability by averaging 119 total yards per game in Weeks 13-17 last year.

Steelers re-signed NT Daniel McCullers to a one-year contract.

McCullers, 25, was a lightly used reserve for last year's Steelers, playing limited snaps in just five appearances. He is a massive man at 6-foot-7, 352. McCullers will compete for playing time behind starting NT Javon Hargrave.

Chiefs signed RB Damien Williams, formerly of the Dolphins.

Williams, 26, spent his first four NFL seasons in Miami after going undrafted out of Oklahoma, managing 3.6 career yards per carry but showing passing-down chops with 85 receptions. In Kansas City, Williams figures to battle Charcandrick West for one roster spot behind Kareem Hunt and Spencer Ware.

Falcons re-signed DE Derrick Shelby to a one-year contract.

Released by Atlanta in early March, Shelby returns for less money after brief flirtations with the Seahawks and Browns. A 29-year-old rotational defensive end, Shelby made 14 starts last season but was pulled on obvious passing downs. He will likely play a lesser role for the Falcons this year.

Cowboys signed WR Deonte Thompson, formerly of the Bills, to a one-year, $2.5 million contract.

He will get a $1 million signing bonus. Thompson showed surprisingly well last season with the Bills, catching 27 passes for 430 yards and a score in 11 games. As it stands, he should slot in as the No. 4 receiver in Dallas.

Vikings signed OL Tom Compton, formerly of the Bears.

Compton started five games at guard last season for the Bears, and he has also made starts at tackle in his career. He should compete for a swing role in Minnesota.

Bucs acquired Jason Pierre-Paul and a fourth-round pick from the Giants in exchange for a third-round pick and a fourth-round pick.

It is a stunning move both because of the paltry compensation and because it only saves the Giants $2.5 million against the cap this season while opening a massive hole on the depth chart. It does get JPP's contract off the books moving forward, however, and the defensive end may not have been a good fit with new DC James Bettcher. This move could signify the Giants are looking at NC State's Bradley Chubb with the No. 2 overall pick. As for Tampa, they needed to rebuild their pass rush, and that is exactly what they have done by trading for Pierre-Paul and signing Vinny Curry. With Gerald McCoy on the inside, the pass rush should be much more dangerous this season.

Patriots re-signed LB Marquis Flowers to a one-year contract.

The deal is worth "up to" $2.55 million. Acquired from the Bengals last August, Flowers started two games for the Patriots late in the season, but he was primarily a special teamer.

Seahawks re-signed RB Mike Davis to a one-year contract.

Seattle somewhat surprisingly declined to tender Davis as a restricted free agent, but despite him taking a visit with the Rams, they ended up getting him back on what is likely a cheaper deal. Davis played relatively well late last season, but the Seahawks should look to bring in a better option during the draft.

It almost seems like Gruden is trying to fail.
