He's filmed a bunch of cameos ahead of time. I wonder if they go to CGI Stan Lee at some point.

I'll move this from the main forum tomorrow, but I know he had tons of fans here.

I was one of them.

I lived on that stuff when I was a kid. Me and my best friend would go to the corner store and wait when we knew a new shipment of comics was coming in. Grab them right out of the box. "The new Spiderman!" Good times.

Marvel should create a superhero after him. Stan Lee. As an honor.

That's the end of the Marvel "era." First, Jack Kirby. Steve Ditko last summer. And now, Stan Lee.

I was never into comics because they were too short and kinda predictable but I always admired Stan and his energy. He had plenty of lean years so I am glad he got to have a great 3rd act to his life and career.

RIP

The world needs more guys like Stan, not less.

It just doesn't seem right living in a world without Stan Lee. RIP.

On a side note, when I was a kid I got Joe Shuster and Jerry Seigel to sign my giant size Superman vs Spider-Man. About 3-4 years ago one of my work colleagues went to an event where Mr Lee was making an appearance. Yes, they got his autograph on my Superman vs Spider-Man (even showed me a picture of her and her BF posing with Mr Lee).

I wonder just how many comics with all three autographs exist in the world. Few, I imagine.
