Broncos are not as good as the Arizona game and not as bad as the Jets game.

Too many holes to get to the playoffs. Hope they keep making changes to personnel.

Did we really see Vance Walker?

Winning with 3 INT"s and a couple strip sacks against a rookie QB will tend to produce a lopsided win like we saw, but it's obviously not a sustainable pattern for making the playoffs.

The Broncos ought to rebuild by dumping some high salaried vets and sucking for the next 3 years while they load up in the draft. That's a much more long-range kind of effective gameplan than what we're seeing from them now. Unfortunately, with new ownership expected sometime soon, that doesn't seem very likely. I doubt the current front office wants to enter into a new relationship with the new Bowlen owner coming off the worst 5-year stretch we've had since the pre-Elway as QB era.

Really, you know this by watching him play in parts of 4 preseason games...

Kelly ain't playing so he isn't even a factor.. and of course I could deny that. Any rational football fan would deny that.

I don't see it impossible, heck the Bills made the playoffs last year.

this season will live and die with KeenHAM- recent history suggests INT's, inaccuracy and lobed up throws.

so I'm going to say 8-8 would be a big achievement.

a win against against a team that is in a downward spiral is great and all, but its doesn't change the fact that we need a QB and the coaching staff needs to be jettison.
two can play that game.

Denver's losses came against two of the best teams in the NFL and two other tough road games against East Coast teams.

You don't know it will take 10.... and if Denver goes 6-3 and sweeps SD that could do it.

Also remember KC at one point last year lost 6 out of 7. They could go on a losing streak as their defense sucks and their QB is banged up.

Best chances at wins imo are Hou, Cle at home and SF, Oak on the road.

We had two pick sixes, a blown coverage for a wide open score among some other things. If Denver goes into KC and plays competitive then maybe things have changed, but if KC drills us by 20+ then it's more of the same.
wow, they might no lose again

Basket Case came in after the starter was injured.
Then lead his team to a playoff run.

It is possible that Either Case stops fing up or he goes down and Swag enters.

But. Me thinks it will take better QB play constantly to be able to make a run...

Bmore is better than KC, too. This year's #1 D.

They clearly overlooked the Jets.

Denver has a poor AFC record. For Denver it will take 10 wins. Put it this way, I'm not losing sleep at night worrying about it. Look at the 3 teams Denver beat. 2 are in the bottom 5 teams in the NFL and Denver got lucky against 1 of them. They are not making the playoffs.

The bengals are schizophrenic under Marvin Lewis, and they also tend to look better than they are sometimes when playing in their own division. They also tend to fold when playing well coached teams. I would love an upset, but I wouldn’t put too much faith in the Bengals to win a big game.

Vs Denver isnt a big game though. They are horrible in primetime under Lewis though so expect them to get thumped this weekend.

3 of their 4 losses are top 5 teams and they got screwed in 3 of them.

They're a slightly above average team, which the stats bear out. Making the playoffs comes down to refs and bounces.

Denver likely needs 7-2 to get in playoffs

@KC Pitt 2 Charger games @Cincy 5 games need 3-2 and no stumbles against other 4.

Pipe dream with this crew.

They are more likely to go 2-7 vs 7-2 by a long shot. You pummel the worst team in the league when you were favored and the Homer's come out and talk playoffs. The delusion is unreal.

Do people realize the Cardinals have not had over 300 yards of offense all year? They have been under 200 a couple times. Just a bad team.

8-8 is the absolute ceiling. There's too much talent for this team to lose out or something. we'll likely finish 6-10 or 7-9. Just mediocre enough to miss out on drafting top 10 talent.

Broncos can make the playoffs if Lindsey gets at least 14 rushes a game (broncos 3-0 when this happens) and Von gets a sack a game (broncos 3-1 when this happens).

Are you implying that the Broncos are a well-coached team?
