I may not share it, but I love the optimism.

our wins are against team below .500, or very well could have been 2 winless teams.

This team has had to very good contenders in close matches, one on the ropes and was one throw away from winning.

I don't see it impossible, heck the Bills made the playoffs last year.

this season will live and die with KeenHAM- recent history suggests INT's, inaccuracy and lobed up throws.

so I'm going to say 8-8 would be a big achievement.

a win against against a team that is in a downward spiral is great and all, but its doesn't change the fact that we need a QB and the coaching staff needs to be jettison.

It's taking 10 wins to get in the playoffs. How is Denver going 7-2 the rest of the way? Who are they going to beat out? They would have to best Bengals and Pitt too. Sorry no happening this year.

Probably not, Keenum is still too inconsistent. We're not playing the Cards every week. But I hope we make the playoffs.

DT ran the route the way it was designed. He was supposed to make the safety sleep on the route and was in the correct window. Any faster and the safety reacts much sooner and sucks into the window earlier. Keenum flat out missed it.

This was explained by several media experts that entire week. Yet still more blame doesn’t go to he rightful owner. It was the perfect playcall by Musgrave.

Seattle is .500, and will be above after this week. They had the Rams on the ropes 2 weeks ago.

3 of Denver's losses were against top 5 teams, and the Jets are .500.

It hasn't been ideal so far....but in reality this has been a far superior start than last season...reversed record aside.

Take the Chargers for example. Sitting nice at 4-2, but look at their schedule so far as well. Their wins are against opponents with a combined record of 6-17 .353 win%. Their losses are against Rams and KC, the same 2 teams we lost to, but we were far more competitive in both.

By game 7 last season we already had the Giants blow out (2nd worst team in NFL), and were shut out by the Chargers.

Playoff talk is more than a little hopeful, but that said. Didn't most people think this was going to be a 7-9 win team going into this season, improving with the hope of taking the next step with a bit of a youth infusion next season? That looks to be an accurate expectation, and with a couple of decent bounces...that couldmean a Wildcard.

Keenum looked pretty good in training camp against our D. Other QBs have looked pretty good against our D.

This team has to win more than 2 in a row (hasn't done that under VJ) before we can talk playoffs.

what do you mean Keenum is not consistent? Has he not thrown at least 1 int in every game this season?

This team isn't going anywhere until Garrett Bolles stops having drive-killing holding calls.

The ****ty offense isn't good enough to overcome that ****.

Still hate the way his balls float. Big pass to He-man being another great example.

If he's not so ridiculously wide open, that's probably an incompletion or INT.

It was a poorly thrown ball. However its also not an easy throw. Window is tighter than you think. He looks that way too long the CB never goes away. Safety is coming over the top. So in reality he only has from when the CB drops DT until the safety arrive all while DT is running and he can't signal he is making that throw. Should have hit him, but its not a layup play.

Bolles didn't have a holding this game. Janovich had one.

It's a play Keesum cant make. So he shouldn't be throwing there.

I just don't share the optimism.

The run defense is still terrible, averages close to 200 yards given up per game.

Case Keenum is still good for an interception or two every game. And he is a terrible downfield passer.

Garrett Bolles.

Joe Woods.

Vance Joseph.

Yeah, I just don't share the optimism. I really think Arizona is that bad. We might have been competitive against good opponents, but this VJ teams will mix in the occasional Jets-type game 2-3 times a season. UNACCEPTABLE

Even Keenum himself would say that play gets completed 90% of the time.

It was in the redzone where Keenum just shrinks.

Refs seem very selective with holding calls. Von was held ridiculously sometimes, and it's never called.. like, ever.
