If your hoping for a loss yousabish

I’m hoping we smoke the cardinals and our team finally gets it together and goes on a winning streak onto a wildcard.

Nah we'll win some games because thats football and upsets happen every week in the NFL.

But this is one of our winnable games left, as someone who wants a high pick regardless of its not a QB, i'm rooting for more losses.

We need to see what Kelly has, get a high draft pick, and fire VJ. In order for any of that to happen, we need to lose football games. It's not rocket science. We need to suffer now in order for there to be a chance for long term success. Suck it up, "super fans".
This, sometimes you gotta lose to win, old saying goes. If Denver finished like 7-9 or something then VJ probably keeps his job.

If we lose our next 3 then i'd think VJ is fired after the bye week and we'll see what Chad Kelly is all about. Which is what the team needs to see regardless.

If this was true teams like the Browns, Raiders, Jets, Buffalo, Jags, Bucs, Texans, Colts, Cardinals, 49ers, and Lions would be regular contenders.

Perennial winning teams don't draft high, they utilize their draft picks and money wisely. They also develop players and coaches with succession in mind on and off the field.

Of course we would have to see magic hit like in 2011 for that to happen.

I can confidently say they arent making the playoffs. Who are they beating out for a wildcard?

Denver probably has to go 10-6 to get a wildcard.

Denver's remaining schedule is.

at Cincy, LAC, KC, SF, AZ, Oak.

vs Hou, Pit, Cle, LAC.

I dont see 8 wins from that.

There is one common denominator between those teams even though a few of those teams have been in a SB recently. When you figure it out I want posters to spare me the let's build the defense and roll with a journeyman/cheap QB.

I dont think high draft picks guarantee everything but higher you pick, higher chance at a top QB or player you get.

If we didnt win those meaningful Jets and Colts games last year, Darnold would be our QB and we'd be set for 15+ years, now....

If Elway didn't go full retard and forget who Case Keenum was, we could have moved up too.

If you mean from 5 to 3, yeah Elway missed out if the cost was a couple 2nds..

You really think that? You can't assume everything shakes out exactly same after changing Denver's record last season. Hell, you can't assume Darnold is all that yet either. There's no real reason to assume he is better than Kelly.

Wouldn't it be better to have Kelly be good while also having Chubb?

The reality is that the best players, young and old, in the game today were picked all over the place. I'd say it's actually rare for a top 5 pick to be considered the best at his position.

I've been wanting Kelly to start lol.

I have said IDEALLY that Kelly turns out to be our guy, and it doesnt matter who we passed on. I'm just sitting back waiting him to get his shot.

While thats true, there's alot of guys picked in the top 5 who are best at their positions or picked near that.

Always a win. Always. I've had to witness 6 losing seasons in my entire life as a Broncos fan and that's plenty.

I hope the team finally clicks. I hope Von's leadership is enough to make up for the coaches lack of leadership. I hope David Johnson gets 6 yards on 20 carries. I hope Musgrave and Keenum finally get on the same page and score on every drive. I Freeman gets 15 touches.

I don't think the Jets would have moved either. In other words, our only QB choices were Allen and Rosen.

I'm actually hoping for a winloss, that way I get to see both the Broncos win, and the losers rooting for losses inevitable meltdown afterwards.

I don't hope for a loss, I hope for a Keenum injury (minor, $wag only needs a couple games to seal the job) and a win by $wag. Then Case can go BACK to being a back up, and the force will be balanced once more.

I'm hoping for a win. A win would be VJ's sorry ass getting fired immediately following the game.

The only way to get wins is to fire the guy who prevents them from happening

Let's lose, that will give us a better pick. The better pick will be some stud that magically turns the Broncos into winners. The NFL isn't a game of what ifs. Some of these morons live life on what ifs . Get a better coach, get one who has the team prepared for every situation, so that when they encounter it during a game, they know we studied this very situation. Have a plan of action and stick to that plan. We run the ball well, but continue to put the ball in cases hands. Our offensive play calling is predictable. When you keep straying off course, this is the result. ****ty play in clutch situations, because you don't have a qb capable of clutch. You don't have coaches capable of clutch.
Run the ball, call plays that require the qb to do 3 step drops and get the ball out quickly. Don't call all go routes on 4th and three.... 3 yards and not 1 reciever broke his route at 4 yards.......
****ty planning, ****ty preparation leads to ****ty results.
But don't hope for a loss, it's a losers mentality.
