Beating a bad Cardinals team won't save VJs job.

Anything short of a strong playoff push will result in his being fired. It's pretty much a matter of when, not if.

I believe the sooner the better, remove the cancer now. But I can't root for a loss. VJ will be gone. If Kelly is as good as many believe, he'll get a shot. I don't think we will see his best mostly due to the fact that all the players that used to be good seem to all have forgotten how to play, which to me points to poor coaching.

Kelly could be great, but look like crap due to the poor coaching. He will get his shot. VJ will be gone. In the meantime, I'll pull for wins, because that's why I watch the games and follow the Broncos.

It would be funny. Funny haha.

I do think his reaction in the video was related more to his shoulder than the realization that he plays for the Gruden Raiders.

I'm of the mind that Gruden is tanking this season out for the top pick. Shipped Mack for two first round picks. Has his first round pick next season, maybe #1 overall. Could he ship Carr out as well and what would his price be? He won't send him to Denver of course but the NFC has a team or two that could use a QB.

Hopefully that will mean VJ is canned, Keenum is benched, and Kelly starts. I hate to be that type of fan but VJ has made this team unwatchable.

What do you all think?

Gary,
I think you are a giant p***Y of a fan who deserves to become a fan of say the cardinals or bengals.
Who hopes their theam loses? Why don't you take up knitting or create a vblog about your periods....then you would have alternate activities that take up your time.
While the team stinks and our coach isn't Vince Lombardi, I still get excited and root for them to kick ass. Stop being such a b**** and man up. **** happens in life and you can't win them all.
PS, stop making ****ty threads.
Sincerely,
A true Broncos fan.

I think VJ has to win out going into the bye week. At AZ, at KC, and home against HOU. We should win (yeah, just like we SHOULD have won the Jets game) two of those. But, as you said, those are about as "gimme" as you can find on the schedule. Winning at KC would show something. But I have no faith VJ or Woods has it in them to pull this off. Lose any of those games and I think Elway is more than justified in firing VJ and his protege.

Gruden is the kind of arrogant that would trade a QB to a division rival with the thinking that he knows that guy 100% so it wont matter down the road.

That's just how he thinks. And I am thinking they probably move him to remove that contract from the books. All Gruden-approved players in Vegas.

We are going to win. This is exactly the type of thing VJ does. He gets a glimmer of hope. But we will not win the next few after thursday.

We just need to see what Kelly has so we can draft a QB or not. This should be prime 1. Winning games this year needs to be prime 2.

Gotta admit.

Eh. MNF is such a non-entity now. But Gruden was better than Booger McFarland is now. So there is that.

Yeah, it's almost like it needed some Gruden-style gimmickry to help keep it afloat.

Now it's so meh. Even with an ending like last night.

If you are playing GB and have less than a 7 point lead, you will lose. Wont matter who the other team is, if Rodgers is playing and he gets the ball anywhere within 5 minutes left, lights out. Go home. Packers win. So its funny when announcers sound surprised. Like hey...have you not followed his career at all?

And ESPN and the NFL is really trying to hype young QBs. Mahommes, Jimmy G, Wentz, Goff. Good qbs with great potential. But they are not great yet. So...there is no reason to put them up there with Brady or Brees or Rodgers just yet. Its irritating.

guess I just really don't care that much this season, since it looks like a dumpster fire in the making. am shifting more of my attention to college ball.

It’s a road game on a short week. We’re going to get embarrassed and hopefully Keenum will get benched.

Looking for that W to get things turned around.

If we can go 2-1 getting into the bye, it would set Broncos up for second half push.

10 days to prepare for KC too.

I think you have that backwards, chief. If the Broncos win, then my team won, cool. If they don't, then at least we're going to have a higher draft pick and we're one game closer to VJ getting canned. Win-win.
