It's brilliant, we give him a taste and he can work on his introduction to the coaching profession at his own pace.
Plus it helps the leadership and mentor-ship aspect of the team.

One of my all time favorites. Someone bump the Ware is a beautiful man thread when we were all gay for that one day.

Not ALL of us. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

That thread was hilarious, though.

Hopefully we'll see this on the Broncos sideline soon as a the "Pass-Rush Specialist". Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't we have someone in that roll before?

I think so too. Although, that time didn't see the greatest sack production. However, we didn't have a lot of talent on the D-line to get a lot of sacks.

Neil Smith, Alfred Williams, Keith Traylor, Trevor Pryce, Maa Tanuvasa...even Mike Lodish was a good rotational player. Denver has a pretty good DL those years. i think the lean DL years came a few years later.

Trevor Pryce was the only talent on that line. But talent by himself isn't enough. Trevor needed another person on the other side that teams had to respect. Maa was good, but never broke double digit sacks.

all the players that were listed were good on the DL

they weren't Von or Ware, but no one in the history of the Broncos has been Von or Ware caliber off the edge

You're right but Al Wilson/Neil Smith was pretty damn good.
