Darnold already has hype following him. I suspect Thorson will get the late hype as the draft approaches. Lynch rose late due to hot air...Elway hooked lined and sinker. Never treat the hype as gospel.

To be fair it was Wentz, Lynch, Dak that year for me.

Of course I am also the same guy who was so in prospect love with Carr that I wanted us to draft him in the first round and was adamant that Watson would be a stud in the NFL.

I wasn't sold on PL because of Memphis. I thought Dak was a steal in the 4th. If I was Elway, I would have taken Dak over PL and been crucified for it. Interesting to see Dak struggle this year. Dallas lives and dies by his play. And neither of these guys are close to Lamar Jackson.

As a West coaster, you of all people should know better than this DB2.

I don't blame most of the clowns around here that are in bed when 'SC kicks off. They hop on the internet in the morning and read "OMG, Darnold's a TO machine" Next step, hop on the 'mane and parrot that narrative.

Anyone with an actual clue can see that....

Darnold threw for 31 TD's & 9 INT's in 2016
Darnold threw for 9 TD's & 8 INT's in September of 2017
Darnold threw for 15 TD's & 4 INT's post September of 2017

Classic outlier in September when The Trojans were basically playing 3 slot receivers and nobody was on the same page. Losing JuJu, Adoree & injuries all combined for a sh*tty start. (The fumbles are a slight concern but that's easily fixed).

People can call it cherry picking & what not but that's 46/13 if you take out a single month of a bad talent situation around him. (Cherry picking would actually be......"Well if you take out that bad game and this bad game, plus the one from last week, Look!" It's not the same)

When it's all said & done by April, Darnold will be viewed as the clear cut #1 and the best QB prospect since Luck. It also wouldn't surprise me to see Rosen fall to a late first rounder once the pros dig deeper than his arm talent.

Maybe. I want to see how Shaw responds to their earlier meeting. I just think he can fine tune himself next year then go number 1. Browns will destroy him if he goes there. Rosen would be higher on everyoneís list if he wasnít a weirdo with open beliefs. I canít stand UCLA, but I canít deny legit NFL throws From that big nosed doofus.

You get your info from SC?

Now this is how an OK player becomes great! Just tease out a month.

I agree with this. Look for the player that keeps his head when all things around him are falling apart. A playmaker not a gunslinger. This is a great Brady quality.

Carr is pretty good with the potential to be a top 10 mainstay over the next decade. Don't be so angry.

Darnold(the best prospect) over Mayfield(the best fight) over Rosen(great passer, a bit douchey). All good choices, but they won't see 5 second pockets in the NFL.

LJ is way better than Micheal Vick...even Vick said so. Not surprisingly given LJ unbelievable stats. Plus LJ is 3 inches taller. The guy just doesn't wear down. And he's lean and strong. Huge mistake not to try and take him.

Darnold, Rosen and Mayfield's average talent will be devoured by expectations in this city.

No one who has actually watched him play would ever call him average.

Jackson is tiny with narrow shoulders. But you can keep making crap up though. You should use the word unbelievable more too.

Yep. They're going after the low-hanging USC/UCLA fruit....again. Just tease out a few months of stats, throw some teammates under the bus. And you get can't miss.

Meanwhile LJ has some unbelievable stats.

. Keep em coming. Here's the stat line from that game. 15/21 for 216 yards 2 TD 0 INT. 156 yards rushing - 8.7 yard average.

Hey, I get that times are tough and plane tickets are expensive.
