One thing I think is a pretty big deal is the offense coming back and winning the first couple of weeks. Defenses like to work extra hard to get essential stops during a game, when they believe the offense can use that stop to put some points on the board. Last year's defense lost all confidence in the offense for good reason. It even lead to some internal strife. I think as a team the Broncos will win this week. 24 to 20. No more soft defense though, man up in the secondary and turn the dogs loose. I would love to see the Broncos face the chefs at 3-0. Chefs at 2-1 of course.

Just kidding, but that is how this board would take it.

OM all week: Broncos will probably loose and here is why......

OM after close Broncos win: Should have blown them out, this team sucks fire the coordinators, bench the players, we need a new GM, owner is broke.
nailed it!

First road game I hope they find a way to activate Demarcus Walker.

Ravens said they have a plan for Von, would be nice to bring in extra interior pass rush and actually develop our young player.

I was listening to Brandon Stokley on 104.3 about traveling to the East Coast, he said the big deal is not the measly 2-hour time difference. The big deal is having a hectic Saturday travel day for an early Sunday game. Makes sense.

I sure hope this isn't like last year when we started hot then went to the east coast and the wheels feel off vs Buff in an early game.

If Keenum has a clean game I think it is an easy win. Don't like our chances coming from behind on the road with everything we needed to go right in last weeks game.

So this was a game I expected us to lose. The Ravens typically kick our ass in Baltimore, with the last time we were there being the exception. I still am leaning that direction but I am having a hard time figuring this game out. VJ mentioned the Ravens have been perfect - historically perfect - 9 for 9 in the redzone which is the best two game start in league history or something. Now a two game sample size is small, and one of those was against the Bills, and they lost their second game. But that's still a really awesome streak to begin the year on when most teams don't find their footing until week four.

That said, everyone in the betting world seems to think we'll show really well. The line has moved in favor of the Broncos. The one thing I do think is how we play in this game should give us a feel for who these Broncos are. It looks too much like the last year for my comfort, with the exception being we have some umf in the fourth quarter.

I expect us to win.

Once the offense really starts to click -- it will be downhill.

and REALLY fun to watch.

So nervous. Got tickets to the game and don't want to deal with **** talking rat bird fans if we lose.

Damn Broncos not any help with getting pre-game field passes either.

Expense and logistics. Two nights at the hotel and arranging a practice field for Saturday practice.

Yeah, that's too much for a billion dollar enterprise like the NFL.

Hectic travel day? These guys fly on a chartered jet. The elephant in the room is it is hard to win on the road in the NFL.

OH MAN, who knew when the schedule came out that we'd have an early game? Someone should notify the Broncos! They JUST found out. Can't change plans this late! Other sarcastic comment! I hope it doesn't break the bank. Maybe they can stay at a Microtel instead and get 2 for 1 points?

iirc, i read that they did last year and the Broncos went either 0-4 or 0-5 and lost by an average of 20 ppg

so it didn't appear to work too well then.
