Not that it isn't necessary to talk about whatever the latest Donald Rump cluster**** is, but a couple other things bear mention.

Yesterday the Dow took another giant ****, plummeting over 800 points, the third largest drop in the history of the stock market. Has anybody noticed this has become a thing lately?

Also...a CAT 4 killer hurricane is beating the Florida panhandle's ass and moving in to pound the **** out of whatever's left of the Carolinas that Florence didn't get a couple weeks ago.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program...

Has Rump tweeted about his greatness yet today?

Are you using this as an excuse? It's not a surprise that the Fed is raising rates, it's been expected. The rates were historically low for a long time. Did you expect them to stay that way forever? Do you know why they were lowered in the first place? Do you know anything about this topic?

For a true free market to exist interest rates would be set by the market itself and not by a central entity of government and private bankers....

anything else is manipulation. What the fed does, is manipulation. And they themselves are completely unregulated. And represent the exact opposite of what the founders of this country intended.

i prefer to let the market decide, instead of jp morgan insiders sitting on the board of the fed.

Ok....so....is the Fed raising rates now an anti-Trump conspiracy? Do you know who nominated the current Fed chairman?

what the fed does has never been about one political candidate or politician.

Where are all the Trumpistas who drive by to crow about Dear Leader's genius every time the stock market posts gains?

Surely they hold the golfer-in-chief equally responsible for the losses, right?

And here's the Fictional Boy, beating his monkey again. Pound, pound, pound. Doesn't have a coherent idea in his little trollish head, but he pounds. He plays fictional football in a fictional story. He pounds.

Pound. Pound.

The fed is doing what is necessary to counteract the coming recession. When interest rates are near zero you can't cut them to stimulate an economic recovery. Since there IS a FED controlling the currency there is going to be intervention. They haven't lost their minds . Trump has never HAD one.

As for whether a recession is coming....the Republicans have been in control of the congress and the presidency for 2 years now.
They ALWAYS cause a recession when they are in charge because they always try a trickle down tax cut. EVERY time since Nixon . And it has the same result EVERY time. The wealthy get more and the rest get less, and that always results in an economic collapse of one level or another. This one is going to be another whopper.

The market and the fed are both creations of human beings, as is money itself. Some people get so wrapped up in their ideological religions that they forget that and begin to believe that the "market" has some kind of divine qualities.

The Rethugs have controlled the Congress for the last eight years.

Since Reagan.

Actually, Nixon was the last New Deal Republican president.

Believe it or not, before Reagan, most Democrats AND Republicans agreed there should be checks on greed.
