Not Fisher,.... McVay. Thatís how the talent was accumulated. No, he hasnít won a Super Bowl, and he may never win one. But to overlook his as another pawn coach would be oblivious.
Not saying heís a pawn coach.

And to be clear they brought in suh Peters talib because theyíre in win super bowl now mode and had cap space.

Similar to when Elway brought in Talib, Ware, ward etc.

It doesnít take a a genius to acquire proven talent. They happened to be in the perfect situation to do so.

And the corner stone pieces of that team (Goff/Gurley/Donald) weíre already there.

They will be in cap hell in the future.

The Rams sold out to buy a SB this year and probably this year only.

Goff's deal doubles next year and they will need to extend him which means at least $20 Mill a year right there.

Peters deal jumps to $9 Mill next year from nearly $2 Mill.

Gurly is about the same price next year but the year after it takes a huge jump.

Joyner is $11 mill and on his last year. No way they can afford to resign him.

Whitworth's Cap number jumps nearly $6 mill.

Talib's deal is the only one that goes down but that is still $8 Mill.

This is a cap nightmare. Not sure who they have in line behind the defenders who will be moving on but they are going to take a huge nose dive talent wise next year.

Yeah, St. Louis really didn't care when the Rams left. Everyone was preoccupied by the nose dive the Cardinals were taking. It only took a year after Warner left for the city to forget there was a team.

We have a lot of young skill players ALREADY and a good defense so we are not that far off. If we can find a new HC like McVay we can get back on track as soon as 2019. He would do wonders for Kelly or said HC could draft his own franchise QB. Too bad we didn't draft Allen or Rosen because that would be identical to Fisher not knowing how to use Goff and John Fox not knowing how to use Trubisky.

Who is out there??
The overall talent level of the Rams and Broncos is not that close. I think as fans we over estimate the talent level of our teams having said that if you put Keemun back on the Rams they might not be a SuperBowl contender the NFC is terrible so Iím sure theyíre still a playoff team.

Iím sure most of you know the Broncos need a quarterback before anything else when the defense was dominent they could win with a gimpy Manning who was still much better then Keemun. The days of the dominant Broncos defense are over they can still be good but a second rate quarterback isnít getting them anywhere even if they had Mcvey.

there are different skills a head coach needs and few do all well. Building the team, setting the right mindset for the team and preparing them to play, and game planning. Some coaches can't build a team well but if they end up on a team with talent they can game plan well and win . Maybe the best bet is to get a coach who can build a team well and then get a new coach who can win with talented players. I think the Rams may have done that (Tampa when they won the superbowl etc.).

What we need is the next Douglas Bubbletrousers.

Actually what we might need is the next Les Snead, since he's the one who really built this Rams team.

Probably DeFlippo, OC of the Vikings.

Helped mold Wentz, and has helped Kirk looked great so far. But the next Sean McVay is hard to find.

If VJ is canned, and that looks like it will happen barring a turnaround by the bye week, then then next HC needs to be offensive minded.
