Default Gardner's wife received graphic text of beheading before Kavanaugh vote

Sen. Cory Gardner calls for civility amid investigation
Colorado Republicanís wife received graphic text of beheading before Kavanaugh vote

This is far beyond the pale and completely unacceptable. Discourse in this country has sunk to a sickening low. And no, it wasn't just fine before 2016.

There are those who want us at each other's throats. The ones saying it's too late for civility, or those who claim that the other party is the really wrong one. They infest comment boards like this, and social media, and here. Don't fall for their absolutist and hyperbolic rhetoric. Their goal is to divide and to anger. Don't fall for their game, as I have, from time to time.

I've had enough from these jerks.

We Americans face a lot of challenges in the years ahead, and we do much better in dealing with those difficulties when working together. Let's not let ourselves be sucked in by those sowing strife, cruelty, and hurt. We're better than that.

Meh, screw civility, I have found politics to no longer be effective, more entertaining... the worse the Trumpster behaves, the better the stories... werenít not really serious about addressing any issues in our country at this point, might as well have fun while it slowly begins to ooze from the seams..

I can understand where youíre coming from, and I respect it... just donít care anymore

People have no regard or little respect for one another.

Gardner is an empty suit with nice capped teeth and good hair. He follows the Dotard's agenda about 98% of the time. He is a protege of McConnell and likes to hang out with the power boys. He gets big money from the NRA and is a "friend" of big Oil and the money bags. He does not do town meetings because of the hard questions about any issue of the day - ACA, Background checks, National debt, gun violence, the border flustercuck, Gay rights, voting rights, police attacks on unarmed black men, Climate Change among others. He is the wet dream of Deplorables, but Colorado is a bit bluer than purple. He holds telephone conferences where the questions are carefully screened. Does not respond directly on anything of substance.

I understand the frustrations of people with him. Sending a graphic text is extreme. But the SOB needs to listen to the constituents.

Still believe it's the product of people barely interacting anymore.

Watching people on social media pretending they're best friends with people in reality they barely know. In many cases, that's their deepest level of relationship with other people.

It's an epidemic.

He's also, basically, a Koch Brothers hired gun. He represents them first, Colorado second.

It really is. And the next generation will be considerably worse.

I remember when he got elected and polling basically stated people voted for him because he was always smiling... no ****. On top of that his opponent was not very charismatic and didn't smile a lot.

Congrats Colorado... You have a senator that smiles ALOT!!!

Game of Thrones. Most of you take this way too seriously.

Sit back and enjoy the show.
