Default Rewatching Broncos/Jets.... ouch

So the game started out very well.. Had a nice drive before stalling, got a fumble recovery...

But then they started running the ball down our throats...luckily they missed that FG..

Traded jabs and then at the 10 minutes mark in the second quarter it all went to hell...

Huge Bomb to Anderson - Roby caught flat footed

Then we went three and out...

The nice thing about the Jets string so many runs outside is that would thought to be a simple fix right?? Not for Woods...

Woods isn't DC material. Its as obvious as Vance Not being HC material. Not even sure Vance is DC material.

What baffles me is that Musgrave is a good OC and the play calling just seems off. Its very Odd.

Why would you torture yourself like that?!?!?!?

I'm a bit more patient with Musgrave. The Qb sucks and dollars to donuts he isn't executing the plays out there. Case looks a step behind, like he is thinking out there instead of playing. It is too much for him, he isn't starting material. But yes, Musgrave must run the ball more, stick with it. For Case's sake, and our D's sake.

Musgrave is more an average OC than a good one.

Vance only year of DC in Miami 2016,
Year Total Yards per game Points Allowed per game Rank
2015 376.2 24.3 25
2016 382.6 23.8 29
2017 335.7 24.6 17

The year before he joined and the year after he left, Miami has little better defense not by much just a hair, So not that great of a DC either.

Just guessing that you're the kind of person who likes to look under the bandage to see how the infection is healing, too... am I right?

Indeed, the pain is real because I know the outcome, but the team has above average talent, I am just trying to figure out what is happening, its so strange.

4 min left in the 2nd quarter we settle for a FG after you guessed it... Bolles KILLS with the holding again on a fuggin 2 yard run none the less.

End of the 1st half Denver gets two almost stops on 3rd down but Peko misses a tackle, Von doesnt read the screen pass and then Darnold to Robbie pass was just insane, coverage by Roby was good.

First Half Recap:

- Denver getting DESTROYED at the line of scrimmage on both sids
- Did not run the ball enough, got way too cute with all the swing passes and Keenum was just awful besides 2 drives
- KILLER holding penalties
- 1 AMAZING Darnold pass, two other long touchdowns by blown assignments

= 21-10 Jets

2 first downs in a row is very good

I was more speaking of the fumble recovery and then TD and then missed Jets FG.

3rd Quarter opens with a HUGE run by Crowell who isnt touched until Simmons makes a good open field tackle. .... but 40 yards downfield....

Where the F werre the Linebackers you say?
- Well Josey just ran straight into a lineman and the other was nowhere to be found. But Darian Stewart did run all the way 5 yards into the play to miss a tackle so...

Bingo! Exactly! I've been saying it forever but I'm just an old lady obsessed with defense.

As far as Musgrave, he's always been an average offensive mind IMO. This team keeps living in the past and needs to look at the future. And I've been saying this since 1/18/2015. The only past that has benefitted us is Wade.

Pick by Wolfe!!

Denver has one good throw to DT for a first to the 42.

Then Keenum and company go backwards and instread of pushing forward for at least a fg, they get sacked!

Why you say??Probably because they gave it to keenum three times in a row instead of running the DAMN BALL!!

9:25 left in the third...

Roby gets beat on a deep out by Kearse, it was 3rd and 12!

But once again, it was a HELLLLL of a throw by Darnold to keep the chains moving. Really good D I thought.

The way the defense lined up, he was FORCED to.

It's not his fault!
