I really wonder how many posters that called Cutler an emo cry baby will do the same to Tebow. I think he has every right to be mad. The team doesn't back him like the fans do.

So trying to upgrade the most important position on this football team is dragging the current occupier thru the mud?

Why is it ok to do it to any other position on the team?

Here's what the Cards said back in July:

"Ultimately Kevin was the guy that we had the highest grade on, that we felt was the best fit for what we're trying to get accomplished as far as a fit with our offense, where he was age-wise, what he had done in the league," Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt said. "That was our target." (ESPN)

Then, they give him five years at 65 mil with 21 guaranteed?

My point is: It's the NFL. Not for long.

If you want love, buy a dog.

Honestly think Tebow should be excited at the idea of learning from one of the best ever (or, really, two of the best ever). It's a massive opportunity for him to become the guy he wants to become... If he's willing to swallow his pride and look that far into the future.

Why isn't people feeling bad for McCoy? He is the one that has the most to lose.

You show a staggering lack of comprehension regarding the human psyche and the realities of NFL contracts.

I'd be happy if I was him. He will get to work with a Future Hall of Fame QB.

Yeah professional athletes are always happy to get benched.

Alex English finished his career as a Maverick because Doug Moe sat him down too much. He was a seasoned vet and had been the face of the franchise. Blew a gasket.

Tebow thinks he is ready now. He just led a team that is devoid of talent past the Steelers in the playoffs. Why would he think he needed to head to the bench?

Doesnt matter that he is getting paid. Thats not how these guys are wired. You wouldnt want one that was. Hell even Brady Quinn gott his feelings hurt that he didn't get to replace Orton instead of Tebow.

He makes too much money to be a bkup for anything more then 1 yr. He makes too much money to play TE part time, or be a bit player in some obscure redzone package.

Honestly over and over you make posts that show you just dont look at the big picture. I sort of thought like you for a few posts, maybe twice, then it dawned on me. You cant pay Tebow tons of money to sit on the bench. Manning will eventually need that money for a WR or more help on defense etc etc. Just how it is. We will draft a rookie to be the bkup, and maybe bring in some rent a vet like Henne.

You people have to be joking. Why the **** would be happy to no longer be the starter? Because it's Manning? Good lord you people are idiots...

If he goes to Arizona that is great for my keeper fantasy team. I have Fitz. So I will be happy either way. Hopefully Tebow not but hurt. But really it means Broncos will be looking for a QB in the draft. Elway isn't sold on Tebow as a guy you start for 5 plus yrs.

Tebow is going to be really cheap the next 3 year. Avg 1.5 mill. That is not tons of money.

I honestly don't know what Tebow would want. I just cannot imagine him getting a consistent drop and release point in one off season of non-team tutoring. He also has no clue as to what keys defenses give to tipping their coverage. Watching Manning prepare in practice and install a game plan and working with a qb tutor selected by Fox and Elway would all be positives.

However, he's also dyslexic and homeschooled. He's never done anything the conventional way. He may feel the only way for him to progress is to play.

Sources speculate that Denver is no longer the favorite for Manning. Nobody truly knows the outcome, but Arizona has a great chance now.

I'm sure if and when he goes to Miami they will be calling the phins front runners. I mean has Manning even left the Cards meeting? Is Manning texting people while he is in there saying mmmmm the Cards are better.

We should be happy to no longer be the front runner. We can sit back and learn from others so we are ready to sign free agents in the future.
