![]() What an attitude by Stokley. I hope we get WW signed, but I'll miss Stokley. Such a critical role player for us and an easy dude to root for.

![]() With Welker in the slot, you could keep Dressen on one side and then just keep Kuper and make him the blocking TE on the otherside. He'll never catch a pass, but he'll sure block better then any TE out there. Hahahaha that would be so funny.

![]() Would be a terrific addition to an already lethal pass offense.

While Broncos are pushing to sign Wes Welker, was told it still could go either way regarding a return to NE. Nothing definite yet |

![]() I think if we drive his price up and he goes back to NE it will be a small victory. Particularly if we then spend the $$$ on a bigger need!

![]() Hmmm
From @MikeGiardi: A source close to the situation telling me that Welker has gone back to the Patriots to see if they'll match the offer |

![]() Welker doesn't want to leave NE. He's using the Broncos get more from NE. If he really wanted to play here he would have signed by now.

![]() This is the attitude I'm trying to take. I never considered it a serious possibility that we would even pursue Welker, so I won't feel like much as lost. Still, it will be hard not to be disappointed if it doesn't happen.

![]() Looks like a good probability that Welker ends up a Bronco now. Just to clarify: Wes is physically in Boston, not Denver right now.

![]() We very easily could have won the Super Bowl with the team as is. As fans, we tend to overstate what our "needs" are. In the salary cap era, every team has weak spots. You don't have to (and, really, can't) fill every need area. Welker would definitely make us a better team.
