Steven “Steveyj” Javaruski, one of the gamers, told the Los Angeles Times that the shooter was a competitor in the tournament who lost and shot at least five people before killing himself.

I really wish these people would just kill themselves and leave everyone else out of it.

The issue here isn't about guns or violence or any other political issue.

Plain and simple millennials are soft as marshmallows. There are 25 year old grown men walking around with the emotional intelligence of a 5 year old. Their parents never made them deal with any adversity or feel the consequences of their actions. It was Timmy is #1 at this and Jaquon is #1 at that. They get participation medals and attaboys for everything. Yet never have to deal with any disappointments or consequences for any of their poor choices.

Parents have either given up or acquiesced to hug fests and Dr. Phil talks. This millennial lost a game I repeat a game of Madden. Rather that shake hands and wish his competitor good luck then learn from his failures he decides to end multiple lives and take his own. He taught him that was ok? Who said it's appropriate to end a life over a video game?

Again this issue not about guns, pornography, jesus, abortions, republican vs dem. Just a bunch of soft useless kids walking around this country as adults.

This ages of mass killers seems to represent the age distribution of our population as a whole (although probably not overly elderly people on the list)

The psychological profile of mass public shootings is mostly entirely different than mass killings at large. And involves a younger celebrity-attracted demographic.

I’m betting the dude didn’t shoot because he lost. I think he was going to shoot no matter the outcome because he walked in ready to do it. He may have lost on purpose just to justify himself to shoot.

its sick, but it wasnt just a game of madden, these tournaments, people play for real life cash.

So its not like he was just playing a game with his friends and was angry he lost, its a competition for prize money.

I almost posted that as terrible as a shooting is, I hope it wasn't someone who lost and then started shooting. THIS is a result of parenting and/or lack thereof AND our society. Take guns away and you'll have to take knives and then cars. Then we'll see that there will always be a tool these fools utilize because they can't handle the world.
