Fox said "he'll be fine."

Why is the Mane so ****ing crazy sometimes, jumping to all sorts of conclusions based on such little information?

Just got an alert from NFL.com that DT has claimed he's the best receiver from Georgia Tech. Haven't read the article yet, but pretty ballsy statement. We're gonna have to pay out the ass to keep him.

Broncos' Demaryius Thomas: I'm better than Calvin Johnson

But watch the interview when he says it - it's not like he's out there bragging about himself. He was asked a question who is better, he or Calvin Johnson.

Yeah, he was cool about it. And right now he is better than Calvin, imo.

Yep, he certainly wasn't gloating or anything like that. Answered the question truthfully, and at this point, I just might agree with him.

I remember before the season started a lot of debate going on around here on whether he was a top 5 WR or not. He's no doubt top 3 at this point.

Who was saying he wasn't top 5?

Dont see that happening at all but if he does, i'd get his jersey right away.

Dan HellieVerified account @DanHellie . @DemaryiusT on #NFLtotalaccess Friday @ 7 ET on @nflnetwork saying yes he will take a hometown discount in Denver.

He is just saying that to avoid waves. When the time comes he will get a huge chunk of change and his agent will make sure of it.

It was a thread discussing primarily receivers, if I'm not mistaken, and several posters didn't have him in their top 5 lists. Might have been another thread that got off topic a bit, I'm not sure.

I agree, he isnt taking a discount, otherwise he would have when they talked about a new deal.

Jordy took a discount.

I hope they keep DT but it aint gonna be at a discount.

In fairness, his discount is probably like 12-14 mil a year instead of 16-18.

He say what happened to Decker, yes he got the money but he is miserable.

So Demaryius posted this on his Facebook with the comment, "Peyton's like "Please do not headbutt me again." lol"

I like his posts, he's a sweet, funny guy. If he turns out to be serial killer I will be very sad because I like him. I also hope we find a way to show him the money. He's my favorite player after my concussion ninja (mostly because Welker just amuses me with his scrappiness and the fact that Belicheck hates him makes me like him more).

Something about Marvin always rubbed me the wrong way, never could put my finger on it. I kind of feel the same way about Russell Wilson. Seems like a great guy through interviews and such, yet I think he is secretly a ginormous douche, and not a very black one at that.

Thomas is putting the finishing catches on a remarkable three-year run. He had 94 catches for 1,434 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2012.

Last season he made 92 catches for 1,430 yards and 14 touchdowns.

With two games remaining, he has a career-best 96 receptions for 1,389 yards and 11 touchdowns. His eight, 100-yard games ties the team record set by Rod Smith in the 2000 season.

The "hometown discount" is just PR talk. With Dez Bryant likely getting a contract north of 100 million dollars, you can expect DT to sign one close to it.

I'm not so sure I pay this guy. Sure he puts up star wars numbers when he isn't dropping the ball but he plays like a soft little guy for his size. He struggles against aggressive man CB. Is he worth the ridiculous contract he will demand? I say no.

Let DT go to FA and then try to sign Dez Bryant

I still think he's an elite talent. But man, can't handle physical press coverage.
