I've got around 8-9 wins for the Chiefs this year.

if you think his performance in Indy is what he will be moving forward you are high.

1 game out of 78 starts a franchise QB does not make.

Your schedule does not bode well for your QB and that joke of an O line you have.

The Seahawks owned your OL. And the rest of that division has DL's just as good.

The Rams aren't even a gimme, anymore. By many accounts, they had a great draft...

Rams have probably one of the best front fours in the NFL. Those four players could stop KC **** ass offense alone.

Tenn - W
@ Den - L
@ Mia - W *this will be a tough one. Miami in September can be brutal, but at least it's the late afternoon game.
NE - L
@ SF - L
@ SD - L**
StL - L
NYJ - W *this one is tough as well. I'm expecting the Jets to be playoff competitive this season.
@ Buf - W
Sea - L
@ Oak - L**
Den - L
@ AZ - L
Oak - W**
@ Pit - W
SD - W**

*splitting w/ oakland and SD.

so this has the Chiefs winning their last 3 so salvage 7-9. Honestly, if they enter the final 3 games at 4-9, they would be better off finishing 4-12 and have a chance at a real QB.

They aren't winning at Pittsburgh unless the Steelers have packed it in for the season

It's not a bad thing. Alex Smith isn't bad and he's improved quite a bit since his poor years early on but he's just not that great either. I hate using stats in arguments but his number of career 300+ yard games is very telling.

He's a solid QB who, if he doesn't screw up, his team has a nice chance of winning but he's not going to carry his team to victories either.

That's what he is and will always be.

I cannot wait to see what the 49ers, Seathugs, and Rams do to your newly shuffled OL.

Smith was 17th in the league in passing yards last year. He threw for just 3300 yards. That is more than 900 yards less than Andy Dalton and Carson Palmer, 600 yards less than Tannehill, and on par with the likes of the immortal Chad Henne. If that's not the definition of a game manager, I don't know what is.

Also, your argument that he was more than a game manager in the Indy game sucks even more than the Chefs do (and that's 187 pages and counting ). Smith could only manage two field goals over the last 28 minutes of the game. So that is not even being a game manager. He actually failed to manage the game, because they lost and epically failed in one of the largest comebacks in NFL history.

Chefs gameplan next year: give the ball to Charles or DAT and pray that they can take it to the house. Alex Smith will not have time to do anything next year.

This is literally what Russell Wilson did last year.

Wilson was clutch when he needed to be. Smith wasn't. Not in the playoffs anyway

When KC gets a D that us top 5 all time let me know. I know you thought they were the re carnation of 2000 Ravens last year when they really were the 2003 queefs.

At least you're finally coming to the realization that they won't be participating in the playoffs this year. Acceptance is the final step in the grieving process. Once again the Chefs are in their typical sweet spot of mediocrity: not good enough to make the playoffs, but not bad enough to be able to draft the true difference makers they need.

When the broncos can score more than 8 points against real defenses let me know.
Manning always loses to those teams. But hey at least you can say you beat the Chiefs. This board seems to care more about that then a SB.

What do you mean by "those teams?" You mean like the Patriots who we beat handily in the AFC Title Game?

It was an awful game from start to finish and once the ball got rolling downhill we couldn't stop it. It was not one of these "we were exposed" moments.

We play them 10 times we beat them 5
