On TV interview, Statsny says he couldn't be sure of his future with the Avs due to Duchene and MacKinnon at center. Was afraid he'd eventually be traded somewhere he didn't like.

IMO, the avs off season is a reflection of what happened in the wild series. They blew 4 leads in game 7.

I'm sure that all of the unused cap space will end up being a big plus for the team.

If Stoner gets over 3 million any guy who has a name people have heard of is going to get paid through the nose.

Damn... I was loving the Landeskog-Stastny chemistry. To have a Swedish-American and a DU grad play so well for the hometown team made the Avs really, really easy to cheer for - especially with Stastny showing up in the playoffs like he did.

Don't know. But he did get an NTC from the Blues and I'll bet the Avs wouldn't.

Iginla will help Colorado in the short term.

That's an awful contract for Orpik by Washington. Should be 2 years/AAV 3-3.5.

Hopefully Iginla can produce like he did last year for the Avs, instead of how he crapped around in PIT.
