![]() I am helping some friends out by joining an AL only league. I barely follow baseball so if you have any pointers for the draft I'd love to hear em.

![]() If you want to get serious, I suggest purchasing Ron Shandler's Baseball Forecaster and Baseball Prospectus annuals. Those books will teach you how to be a fantasy baseball machine.
Baseball Forecaster has made a science out of projecting players' performance in fantasy terms. Baseball Prospectus is a more entertaining read, while still analytical. I would also recommend reading this: http://ronshandler.com/silent-killers-mtr1/ Whatever you do, don't buy the magazines at the grocery store. |

![]() Thanks I appreciate that. I’ve done enough fantasy football drafts to understand how things work but honestly I’m not sure how deep I want to get into this.
I will check out your resources though so thank you. |

![]() Just a general guideline, I would invest at least 7/3 or 6/4 in the first 10 picks in hitters. Pitchers are more volatile and carry more injury risk.

![]() Also the Rotoworld fantasy app is a must have. It gives you round the clock player tidbits to your phone.
