Ok so I think McGee at 2.4. They can still get near max if they renounce Randle and stretch deng

Why?

There's nothing left.

You would want Randle back on the QO and why stretch Deng?

Let it play out

I mean.... outside of a point guard they basically signed a starting five tonight as good as the Cavs starting 5 last year.

McGhee, Stephenson, LeBron, Caldwell-Pope. (I know not all those dudes will start)

Honestly I would sit tight and let the roster shake out. There will be some stars available mid season that aren’t available right now. Get a better look at the young dudes and pivot from there.

WOJ currently on ESPN.

"Spurs willing to trade Kawhi to Lakers"

"Kawhi now not just saying he wants to go to LA, but specifically the Lakers"

At this point, if they can’t get kawhi, I’m looking into boogie. Otherwise try to sign Randle to a one year deal

I think we all knew it was the Lakers, not Clippers. Kawhi wants to goto only one team.

It's definitely possible a trade will happen between the two

But, what would they create room for LeLo? There's nothing left

How do the bird rights work. If the lakers ship all the kids to SA, can they keep Randle?

If they give all the kids (minus hart) for kawhi, they still need shooters. Maybe in the buyout market

Yes. Keep Hart too. Hart and Kuz and SA can have the rest for Kawhi.
I just want a couple kids who can carry on after these guys are all out of the league in 3 years.

I wouldn't pay him a multiyear deal coming off an achilles

I think that's the sticking point of Kawhi to LA. Lakers shouldn't trade him

I jusT meant a 1 yr deal. Maybe 1 yr with a team option for the second.

Wait whatís the sticking point? Oh kuz. I probably cave and throw him in if Iím confident in kawhis medical. But Iíd need to think about that long and hard

I wouldn't be surprised if the Warriors start to break up after next year. I believe Thompson will be a free agent. He may be the first to go.

The Lakers are loading up, but as long as this Warriors team is together, it won't matter. The Lakers will need to add at least two star players to go with LeBron to compete with the Warriors.
