This is the best chance at winning the NL West we've ever had, and we appear to be blowing it.

I really want to get the division title monkey off our backs. We're a quarter century into this. That's just embarrassing, right there.

I'm not giving up hope. I just need to watch harder.

why hasn't Tony Walters been sent down yet? We need offense and his .158 batting isn't cutting it. Calling up Murphy is a good start but come on Bud!!!! Walters sucks!!!!!!

Eolters is a much better catcher behind he plate and has a good arm for the throwing out base stealers. Iannetta just flat out sucks, just a below average catcher in every facet of the position. But, yeah, Walters offense isnít gonna cut it but Iíd rather him get more time than Iannetta.

How can the entire bullpen be as bad as they are? Davis performance was total bull**** and absolutely unacceptable. Up by three runs and can’t throw a ****ing strike. Don’t ****ing blame Coors Field either. They are just as awful on the road as they are at home.

Also, my dvr cut off at the four hour mark, really wanted to hear Black’s postgame comments.

There have been more discouraging seasons than this one. But not by much.

I still think these guys have the talent to go on a run. But this has got to be demoralizing.

The only positive I can come up with is that everyone's been to blame, at one point or another. When the pitching was good, the hitting sucked. Now that the hitting is good, the pitching sucks. I'd be pissed if I was in the lineup today. But they've certainly had their games where they let the team down, as well.

The point they made after the game about this having to be rock bottom - I hope that's right. We have a bunch of guys in that bullpen that haven't just succeeded before - they've succeeded as a rule. Surely, this can't continue. Right?

Street had the perfect send-off set up and pitching ruined it. I hate the Rockies. They're either awful or a tease. Even when they try to do things right they suck.

The worst thing about baseball is how little the wins seem to really matter, but how losses like this still feel like such a kick in the nuts.

I miss the days of the Blake Street Bombers. Good pitching wasnít really necessary when they were winning games with scores like ď17-15Ē and averaging 3-5 HR/game. At least they were entertaining then.

Still can't believe that Wade ****ing Davis couldn't throw a strike to save his life. Starting pitching is pretty much ok, the hitting has been pretty good, but the bullpen, this expensive ass bullpen, is amazing.

It's hard to blame Brdich or Monforts or even Bud Black for this. This is all on the players.

I have 3 free games I need to go to through some vouchers. Not going to go until/unless these aholes turn it around.

I think Jon Gray would be awesome in the bullpen. Maybe he'd avoid having that 1 awful inning. Then maybe bring Senzatela up to fill his spot.

Arenado wants to play for a contender. I have to believe each game like this pushes him a little more out the door.

This is so frustrating! They need to figure it out or shake things up. How you canít hit in Coors Field and hit on the road or just suck so bad in middle innings. Bryan Shaw, Wade Davis, Rusin, and the bullpen all look like Mike Hampton in Coors Field. Theyíre heads are just spinning!

Same with LeMahieu. And Blackmon will regret signing his contract extension.

All the more reason you need to try SOMETHING.

It quite obviously isn't going to work itself out.

Are we still doing the thing where we pretend Shaw should be pitching in MLB games?

At least you guys donít lose to the marlins in disaster fashion.

NL west is wide open cause no one wants to separate. Dodgers likely run away later in the year.

Bettis struggled last night but the bats and finally a good game from the bullpen got us a W!!! Love to find Ryan McMahon more playing time. Kid needs a chance and can rake it! Now we need starting pitching to hold it's own.
