Won't get anything close to a 2nd, if anything at all. Look how little Seattle got for Bennett, for example.

Texans re-signed S Corey Moore to a one-year, $630,000 contract.

Moore was an exclusive rights free agent, so his only options were signing with the Texans or not playing in 2018. It was the same story for DL Ufomba Kamalu, who also signed a one-year deal. A quality special teamer, Moore has also shown well when given a chance on defense the last couple seasons. With both Marcus Gilchrist and Eddie Pleasant headed to free agency, he could get a shot at a starting job.

Patriots signed ST Brandon King to a two-year, $2.6 million contract.

The deal includes a $400,000 signing bonus. A former UDFA out of Auburn, King has played zero snaps on defense through three seasons, but he has been a standout on special teams.

Broncos exercised CB Chris Harris' $1 million, 2018 option.

This was essentially a formality. One of the best corners in the league, Harris is a bargain at his $7.4 million base salary, and Denver certainly was not letting him walk out the door. Harris is due $16.4 million in salary and bonuses over the next two seasons.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports free agent Jonathan Stewart is visiting the Seahawks on Thursday.

After having one of the worst rushing attacks in the league last season, the Seahawks are rightfully looking at all their options this spring. Stewart will turn 31 later this month, however, and has mostly struggled the last two seasons. He is probably not the spark their running game needs.

Their rushing attack sucks because they keep taking ****ty OL in the draft, switching D men to OL and trotting out late round RB's like it's Denver circa 2000.

49ers signed WR Marquise Goodwin to a three-year, $20.3 million extension through 2021.

It includes $10 million guaranteed. The 49ers signed Goodwin to a bargain two-year, $8 million contract last March and he responded by posting new career bests across the board, coming within 38 yards of 1,000. He seamlessly slid in as the 49ers' No. 1 receiver after Pierre Garcon was lost for the season and showed excellent chemistry with Jimmy Garoppolo. Goodwin is unlikely to ever be a true No. 1, but he's proven he can be an excellent No.2. 2018 will be Goodwin's age-28 campaign.

Vikings re-signed S Anthony Harris to a one-year, $705,000 contract.

Harris was an exclusive rights free agent. A 2015 UDFA, Harris has been a valuable special teamer and reserve defensive back. He turns 27 in October.

No way we get a 2nd.

I could maybe see a 3rd while giving up Talib and a 4 or 5.

Bucs re-signed QB Ryan Fitzpatrick.

It's a one-year contract. 35-year-old Fitzpatrick made six appearances, including three starts, in place of Jameis Winston last season. Always a bit overextended as a starter, Fitz is one of the league's top backups.

Rams signed CB Sam Shields.

Shields hasn't played since suffering the fifth documented concussion of his career in Week 1 of the 2016 season. Speaking recently, he said he was "one away" from retirement. Now on the wrong side of 30, Shields is purely a speculative flier for a team that's thin at cornerback.

Bills signed DE Owa Odighizuwa to a one-year contract.

A 2015 third-rounder, Odighizuwa spent 2017 out of the league after being waived by the Giants. He'll be a long shot to crack the Bills' 53-man roster.

Titans released S Da'Norris Searcy.

The move saves $3.85 million against the cap. Searcy was signed away from Buffalo back in 2015 and started 33 games for the Titans before being benched in favor of All-Pro Kevin Byard and free-agent pickup Johnathan Cyprien last season. Searcy played just 365 snaps and turns 30 this year.

Seahawks released CB Richard Sherman.

It's the end of an era in Seattle; Sherman was a three-time first-team All-Pro and picked off 32 passes across seven seasons. The Legion of Boom is undergoing mass overhaul, losing another one of its key elements. Sherman turns 30 later this month and is coming off a torn Achilles' last season. He's not 100 percent yet and also had surgery to remove a bone spur from his other heel earlier this offseason. Sherman will undoubtedly draw plenty of interest on the open market, but he has his question marks. He's largely played zone defense in Seattle, is coming off a serious injury, and is turning 30. The Patriots reportedly poked around on Sherman in trade talks last offseason and likely will have interest again this year after missing out on Aqib Talib. The Seahawks save $11 million in cap space with this move but have a huge hole in the secondary.

Titans released QB Matt Cassel.

The Titans also cut ties with WR Eric Weems and S Da'Norris Searcy. Cassel struggled in his lone start last year, throwing for just 141 yards in a Week 5 loss to Miami. The 35-year-old doesn't have much left in the tank but could land on his feet as a veteran backup/mentor. The Titans are well-positioned for free agency with over $60 million in available cap space.

Titans released WR Eric Weems.

The veteran played just 14 snaps on offense last year. He'll look for special teams work elsewhere.

Seahawks released CB Jeremy Lane.

Another one bites the dust. Designating Lane as a post-June 1 cut will save Seattle $4.75 million in cap space. The Seahawks were on the verge of trading Lane to the Texans last season but he stayed in Seattle after failing his physical. Lane was once a prominent member of the Seahawks' Legion of Boom secondary but has seen his play decline since suffering a torn ACL in Super Bowl XLIX. Seattle's defense is going to look a lot different next year without Lane, Michael Bennett and Richard Sherman.

Panthers acquired WR Torrey Smith from the Eagles in exchange for CB Daryl Worley.

It's a coup for the Eagles, who were probably going to cut Smith anyway. The 29-year-old was productive early in his career but was mostly a non-factor last season, reeling in just 36-of-69 targets for 430 yards and two touchdowns. The Panthers sorely missed Ted Ginn's deep prowess last year but Smith, who is due a whopping $5 million in 2018, isn't the answer. Smith's departure should open up more snaps for Mack Hollins in Philadelphia.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirms the Steelers are expected to release FS Mike Mitchell next week.

Browns acquired CB Damarious Randall from the Packers in exchange for QB DeShone Kizer.

Considering the Browns traded for Tyrod Taylor on Friday and are likely to select a quarterback early in the draft, it was clear Kizer was no longer in their plans, so getting a corner who has flashed quality starter skills and is still on his rookie deal in return is good business. Randall also clashed with coaches last season, however, which is likely why the Packers decided to move him. With Randall, Jason McCourty, and Jamar Taylor, Cleveland has the makings of a solid corner group.

Browns acquired QB Tyrod Taylor from the Bills in exchange for the No. 65 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft.

This deal comes just hours after the Browns agreed to a trade which will bring Jarvis Landry to Cleveland. Coach Hue Jackson has said he does not want to start a rookie quarterback in Week 1, and this trade all but ensures he will not have to. It also means the Browns do not have to reach for a quarterback with one of their top five picks if they are not in love with the top options, although Taylor is scheduled to be a free agent after this season. As for Buffalo, the writing had been on the wall for Taylor, but now the only quarterback they have under contract is Nathan "Five Pick" Peterman. They are strong candidates to trade up for one of the top quarterbacks in the draft.

Browns acquired WR Jarvis Landry from the Dolphins in exchange for the No. 123 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft and a seventh-round pick in 2019.

The Browns are also working on a new contract with Landry, who signed his one-year, $15.982 million franchise tender earlier this week. It looked like the Dolphins may have backed themselves into a corner by tagging a player they never actually wanted, but it all worked out in the end. Landry's salary was never an issue for the Browns, who boast over $100 million in cap space. It probably won't be enough to lure in Kirk Cousins, but the Browns do offer an intriguing receiving corps with Landry, Josh Gordon and former first-round pick Corey Coleman. Landry's 400 catches through his first four seasons are the most in NFL history. Still, it will be hard to gauge his fantasy value until we know what Cleveland's plan is at quarterback.

Browns are doing work.
With Kizer being moved so quickly you have to believe that was Sashi Brown's guy and that Hue wanted others.

Patriots acquired DT Danny Shelton and a 2018 fifth-round pick from the Browns in exchange for the Patriots' third-round pick in 2019.

Shelton was the Browns 1st-round pick in 2015 out of Washington. He was a contributor to their elite run defense in 2017 and graded as a top-20 interior defender against the run according to Pro Football Focus. Despite his success, this seems to be a beneficial trade for both teams. The Browns will likely rely more on former third-round pick Larry Ogunjobi who excelled in his 2017 rookie campaign. It also fills a big hole for the Patriots after not exercising DT Alan Branch's 2018 team option. Shelton will likely be used as a role player against teams that frequently use heavy packages and especially in run-stuffing situations, something the Patriots struggled with in 2017.

Falcons signed CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson to a one-year extension.

Wreh-Wilson played in eight games for the Falcons in 2017 and started one. He played a total of 78 snaps last season with 57 coming in one game. He was re-signed to provide depth for the Falcons secondary

Giants released P Brad Wing.

Wing signed a three-year extension in 2016 but played poorly in 2017, averaging the lowest net yards per punt in the league. Two short punts contributed to Giants' late losses against the Eagles and Bucs, and Wing also had two punts blocked. This move saves the Giants $1 million in cap space.

Lions re-signed LS Don Muhlbach to a one-year contract.

Muhlbach extends his reign of being the longest-tenured long-snapper in the league. He is entering his 15th season, all of which have been with Detroit.

NFL.com's Mike Garofolo reports the Giants have asked Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to take a "significant" pay cut.

Per Garofolo, the sides are "far apart." DRC is due $6.5 million in 2018. Perhaps the Giants will allow him to gauge outside interest during the "legal tampering" period before making a final decision. If Rodgers-Cromartie remains in New York, it could be at safety.

49ers signed CB Richard Sherman, formerly of the Seahawks, to a three-year, $39.15 million contract.

The deal includes a $5 million signing bonus. It took Sherman just over 24 hours to land a new team after being let go by the Seahawks on Friday. There was some thought he would have to settle for a short, prove-it-type deal coming off a torn Achilles, but obviously the Niners had no qualms about Sherman's health. The 29-year-old has been one of the league's best corners since arriving as a fifth-round pick in 2011 and gives San Francisco's secondary an immediate boost. It's a homecoming of sorts for Sherman, who played collegiately at Stanford. By staying in the NFC West, Sherman will get to suit up against his former mates twice a year.

Niners could make a significant push if they draft right.

According to Ben Volin of the Boston Globe, free agent Case Keenum can "likely be had" for $16-18 million annually.

Keenum is looking at a big raise after leading Minnesota to the NFC title game last season. He's been linked to the Broncos, who could view Keenum as a fallback for Kirk Cousins. Keenum has a connection to Denver senior personnel advisor Gary Kubiak, who helped sign Keenum as an undrafted free agent with Houston in 2012.

Ben Volin of the Boston Globe expects free agent Teddy Bridgewater to command $12-15 million annually on a one or two-year "prove-it" deal.

He named the Dolphins and Jaguars as possible suitors. Bridgewater would also be a fallback option for teams who miss on Kirk Cousins. Finally healed from a brutal knee injury that cost him most of the last two seasons, the 25-year-old enters free agency with 28 touchdown passes and an 86.3 career quarterback rating.

Ben Volin of the Boston Globe mentioned the Bills as a potential suitor for free agent A.J. McCarron.

McCarron was widely expected to reunite with Hue Jackson in Cleveland but that seems to be off the table following the Browns' trade for Tyrod Taylor. The Bills are certain to address quarterback in the draft but could also pursue a veteran placeholder like McCarron, Sam Bradford or Mike Glennon in free agency. Those quarterbacks could probably be had for $10-12 million annually.

Giants released CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

The move saves New York $6.5 million. The Giants asked him to take a pay cut, but the 31-year-old decided he would rather test the market. Rodgers-Cromartie clashed with coaches—all of whom are now fired—last season, but showed well when given the opportunity, earning a positive grade from Pro Football Focus. 2016 first-round CB Eli Apple spent most of last year in the doghouse but DRC's release suggests he's back on even ground with the organization. Rodgers-Cromartie, who matched a career-high with six interceptions in 2016, joins a loaded free agent cornerback class featuring Trumaine Johnson, Kyle Fuller, Aaron Colvin and Malcolm Butler, among others.
