Adopt-a-Bronco:
CHRIS KUPER!!!
Default Broncos trying to trade Demaryius Thomas

Fire sale!

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/2...ffiliate_IFTTT

Quote:
The Denver Broncos have been listening to offers for star wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, league sources tell ESPN.

A handful of teams have reached out to Denver to see if the Broncos would be willing to part ways with the five-time Pro-Bowler, who was a first-round pick in 2010, and Denver has not rebuffed those advances to date, according to sources.

The same is not true of Emmanuel Sanders, who some teams have expressed an interest in, according to sources. Denver has not been interested in listening to teams who have called about Sanders.

Thomas, however, appears to be different. Thomas is 30 years old, at the end of the prime of his career, and Denver knows it has a young receiver in Courtland Sutton who is ready for more playing time.

This doesn't mean that the Broncos will deal Thomas, but they have listened to teams and will continue listening leading up to the NFL's Oct. 30 trade deadline.

The broncos would be smart to trade him

Bob is just an ignorant moron who thinks this is earth shattering news. What would be more earth shattering is news that bob can see his dick

Would listen on 88, would only listen on 25 if it starts with a 1st. Like they said, Denver has Sutton behind DT. Thereís jack **** behind Harris, and heís still playing at a high level.

Good time to cut the fat. It's a lost season might as well coup a pick and dump that contract. Doubt anyone trades for him though. They see what we can see. He struggles to separate and just iant the play maker he used to be.

Trying to trade and listening to offers is NOT the same thing. Sure, he could get traded, but they didn't start the discussions. Just like saying P. Peterson was going to be traded...

Teams called about Sanders and got a no but they could trade for DT. These professional GMs know DT is washed up.

Sanders is also getting interest. it all depends on Denver stands and what they are offering.

Dallas is dumb enough to trade a 3rd for DT. We should do it.

Sanders and Harris, off limits.

Most Bronco fans know DT’s days here are nearly over. This team wants to give his job to Sutton, and they also want to free up cap space. DT can still play, but he’s not an elite WR anymore. It’s sad but true.

Great season to get the future reps:

Thomas- Sutton
KeenHAM- Kelly

Two great moves to make heading into a bye week coming up.

His contract is not feasible for next year so they have to do something. Having him walk for nothing doesnít help the team. Paycut/restructure could be on the table in the offseason too. But DT would be able to get a better contract somewhere else.

Marshall is a joke. Just go away...

Sanders and Harris are playing at a high level and I wouldnít trade them.

If they move him, they move him. I think the only guy I'd be upset about the team moving is Von.

One of the two most talented WRs in franchise history, never misses time, plays hurt, total team guy, consummate professional. Maybe not worth his contract at this point in his career, sure, but to think his character is anything other than outstanding is idiotic.

Iím more than okay with this. DT is a great guy, and he has done a lot for our team, Iíll give him that. He also had the help of many great students of the game. Between his drops and injury history, I find it wise to move on.

I pretty much agree with this notion. Harris would be a hard pill to swallow but Iíd accept it. Harris has done a lot for the city of Denver at a decent cost. Heís a Bronco. A real one. You know?

I wish DT could retire here, he has been so amazing to the team. =(

Still if they can get something decent for him, they probably should.

Best WR in broncos history

He destroyed during the manning years
Would have destroyed had Elway been throwing to him

Said it during Tc Denver will be a better team if Sutton took DT place and DT moves into the Fitz role
