Do you want us to guess the options?

edit - just saw the poll...oops. I vote neither. Someone on the broadcast said he reminded them of Tony Romo. I might agree, a less elusive, young version.

TB12 isn't an option.

He reminded me a lot of Tony Romo Monday to be honest.
Throwing darts all over, and then the proverbial WTF moment throw to a defender.
Fortunately for Trevor, he did it early and Hayward wasn't paying attention.
Unlike Romo, who usually does those late in the 4th.

Trent Green was a capable, underrated QB. I'd be thrilled if he developed into a comparable QB.

It's kind of crazy how the 2 have similar throwing style. Maybe it's the compact shoulder look. They both have that turn your body after it's thrown style. I like it.

Alex Smith took too long to develop and look like a competent QB. Siemian is ahead of where Smith was in his 3rd year.

Those throws to Heuerman and Green in tight windows were savage, I don't think Alex Smith makes those throws in his 3rd year.

After throwing for 18 touchdowns last season and not showing much as a scrambler, Siemian already has 3 touchdowns after 1 game and is juking Joey Bosa.

So, it looks like Siemian is still getting better and no one knows how much he can improve his game in this offense in 1 or 2 years. It's hard to make a comparison at this point.

If Siemian continues to produce 2, 3 touchdowns and make the types of throws he made against the Chargers, the current Alex Smith might be Siemian's floor.

At this point, I'd say Siemian is already entering the Kirk Cousins category and you can imagine how much money Cousins will make next year. I wish the Broncos could put an NFL-caliber RT on the field to give the QB a better chance but, once again, that's not going to happen this season.

The problem is I can't think of one that is out there. Now I will agree anything at this point may be an upgrade but at this point you will be paying top dollar for garbage.

I think he would be more elusive if his first name was Trevarius.

I'd roll with TB12 for arm and acumen with a Jay Cutler level of athleticism along with a CK6 measure of swag.

kind of hard to compare him to somebody because the book is not closed on Trevor and he hasn't hit his ceiling yet he is going to get better but at this point knowing everything that I know including offseason minicamp and training camp and the first game of the season I'd take Trevor over all these quarterbacks above.

I'm not sure how good he's going to be and who we are going to be able to compare him to but let me tell you this he's going to be better than all these guys.

Paxton Brock Osweiler Kyle Orton Tim Tebow Chris Simms Jay Cutler Jake Plummer Danny Kanell Jarious Jackson Steve Beuerlein Gus Frerotte Brian Griese Chris Miller Bubby Brister Bill Musgrave Hugh Millen Tommy Maddox Ken Karcher.

In my own opinion I believe that he will have a better career than all these ex Bronco quarterbacks.

Yeah, its the throwing motion. Trevors got that compact, dart throwing motion and arm swing. His placement on all the balls to TE's was unreal.
Alex Smith would NEVER attempt those.

He looked like Trevor Siemian.... with a little Aaron Rodgers sprinkled on top when he made Joey Bosa miss the tackle on the touchdown run.

Honestly...he just had his 15th start. And so I selected the neither option. He's Trevor. Not Alex or Trent Green.

Ask again at the end of the season.

Did BossChief start that discussion? Because he could never discuss a Denver player without somehow relating it back to KC.

No. Siemian doesn't resemble any of your QBs. The closest thing is that both he and Trent have Superbowl rings while not being the starter.

He's not like Alex Smith even a little. He's not as athletic as Smith, but throws a much prettier ball.

Charlie Checkdown has been the recurring theme. Not this year. Even this board's Siemian haters have ran and hid in their mom's basements.

I don't see them talking about this on their website. Doubt they care.

Smith actually went for it game 1 much like our qb.

Trevor reminds me of Romo, but so far not as elusive. We shall see since this is just the start of his 2nd year being the man.
