Actually according to the peanut gallery it won’t stop people illegally entering the country..so I guess the inanimate object hurls racist slurs at folks when they get close?

So it’s either racist or worthless - being racist implies that it will work but that goes against the story that it won’t help..which one is it?
If you listened to experts instead of a reality TV bozo you’d understand the wall is neither effective nor necessary.

It’s simply a white supremacist monument whose sole purpose is to keep the troglodytes erect.

Hey, something new in this tired old debate!!!

In The Great Wall's favor, it would MAYBE have, if in place 100 years ago, kept those nasty little javelinas from spreading their destructive range to the USA.

That's all I have, carry on . . . . . .

Do you believe we should have open borders? Do you believe we should enforce our immigration laws?

It’s almost as if Trump didn’t think this one through.

“Put a wall up that mountain over there. Put it in the river too. Okay put it on our side of the river. Yeah so you can’t access the river. Of you can’t do that cause its private land? Ok let’s nist scrap the mountains and rivers and private land. How about just put it on the flat stretches of land.”

“You mean where there is already a border wall?”

“Yeah. But make it beautiful.”

No and yes.

But it doesn't follow that tRump's wall is a good idea.

tRump understands that talking about the wall ad infinitum is more effective when it comes to engaging his two-digit IQ followers than actually building the wall.

If he can continue to push the "I want to build a wall, but the Dems are stopping me" narrative, he'll have the mouth breathers eating out of his hand.

Americans need to remember, the only reason this entire "Wall" fiasco exists is because Trump was too stupid to remember his campaign speeches, so his staff came up with a mnemonic ("The Wall") to remind him that he needed to scare his followers with the idea of a brown horde coming over the border to steal their jobs and rape their wives and daughters.

THIS!!! All the talk and debate about a continuous wall along the southern border has completely glossed over the fact that it can never actually be constructed. Wah wah wah....

So you agree we should export people in our country illegally - regardless of their original country? I’m trying to find common ground here.

No.

I already told you I didn’t advocate for open borders and I didn’t believe we shouldn’t have immigration laws and enforce them.

The point is that it doesn’t follow that IQ45’s wall is a good idea.

So you agree we should enforce immigration laws just not the current laws (deportation)?

What should we do with people in our country illegally?

$5.7 billion to catch one car.

Well worth it, according to the bigots and nativists.

1. Yes - I’ve never claimed otherwise.

2. Should be decided on a case-by-case basis: sometimes deportation is the appropriate action - sometimes it isn’t.

But back on topic: it doesn’t follow from the answer to either question that IQ45’s wall is a good idea.

You don't understand. The cartels are transporting even more drugs than that over open, unforgiving terrain with no roads. That's a way better way to get drugs into the country than hidden compartments in vehicles or tunnels between houses/businesses on different sides of the border. It makes total sense if you don't actually think about it.

You have it-bass ackwards: They’re saying “stuff” that’s supported by experts, law enforcement personnel and state representatives who know better than anyone what’s happening on the southern border.

One of the biggest costs not included in these early estimates is the cost of building roads and infrastructure to the remote areas of the border hundreds of miles from civilization, and the transportation costs of getting materials there. It will never get finished. Ever.
