Almost as hilarious as how constantly wrong you are. I mean seriously, do you ever get tired of always being wrong?

Yup. Mob and material transport charges alone would be insane. Can’t feasibly build a wall in many of those areas anyway due to the geology and terrain. And there are many sensitive species in those areas of the border too, so the environmental permitting process would be an absolute nightmare. No one who knows anything about large construction or civil engineering projects can seriously advocate for the wall with a straight face. There’s a good reason why it was never built in these areas decades ago. And it ain’t because wealthy congressmen and women want to keep human trafficking going, durr...

If Dotard Don calls an emergency for his wall, look for "Resolution of Condemnation" from the House. The Senate, by law, MUST hold floor vote. It will require only 51 votes in Senate. Cannot be vetoed. There will be no wall. Dotard Don is screwed. Period. End of story.

Nancy and the House will win again. I like this winning stuff.

Trump thrives on divisiveness. It’s how he keeps himself the center of attention, fuels his base and ensures that no matter what facts are revealed, his followers will stick by him.

That’s why he can’t just let go of a guaranteed applause line like the wall.

I guess people in the real world don't have time for Trump's bull****. I saw an interview the other day with some border sheriffs who wanted to inform Trump of some of the facts, but when he was down there, he wouldn't talk to any of them. Trump only talks with people who he knows already agree with him.

We've got to figure out a way for our democracy (and its policies) to start representing the views of the majority, rather than a 30% slice of the most misinformed people in the country.

Trump’s failed shutdown strategy produced an even worse deal than he started with

Quote:
But the bigger issue is this: The amount of funding is actually shy of the original deal Republicans and Democrats reached last year that Trump rejected. At that time, the spending bill for the Department of Homeland Security included $1.6 billion for 65 miles of fencing, both slightly more than the current tentative deal.

This was the deal on the table (it passed 26 to 5 in the Senate Appropriations Committee in June) when Trump initially began demanding $5 billion for his wall. He’s now getting slightly less than that $1.6 billion while also making a concession to Democrats on detention beds.

So he took a big hit to his approval ratings and at the same time gave up more than he otherwise would have. That's your "Art of the Deal" POTUS, Trumpkins!

Trump talks a good game on the border wall but it's increasingly clear he's afraid to fight for it. Call this his "Yellow New Deal."

Not just misinformed, but disinformed. And too cultish to see.

Thanks to the Electoral College, I'm afraid that day will never get here.

When I first read that tweet about the “Yellow New Deal”, I thought she was referring to Trump’s arrangements for compensating Russian prostitutes at the Moscow Ritz Carlton. The Art of the Deal indeed!

If the Rethugs are smart, they'll field a 2020 primary challenge featuring a Hannity/Coulter ticket.

They can call it "the cut out the middle man ticket."

Isn't anybody in the MAGA crowd going to even ask why Mexico isn't paying for it?
