Default The Raiders suck

time to make a mega thread to make fun of the Raiders. When you lose to a 1 win rival team's 3rd string QB by 30+ it's time to make a thread.

the raiders are easily the worst team in the league and all of their halloween-costume wearing fans can suck it.

It’s impressively blatant.

and you can put a fork in marshawn lynch too because he's on empty anyway.

now the question is, do you trade carr and do a total gut job or do you surround him with a bunch of weapons and great OL?

there's that philosophy of winning a super bowl with a QB on his rookie contract so it will be interesting to see if gruden subscribes to that. seattle did it with wilson, the eags did it with wentz and it's possible the chiefs or rams do it with mahomes and goff.

I really hope they trade off Carr and take Herbert...the only QB prospect anyone might consider in round 1. I don't think he's all that great at this point, and he might not even opt to leave school for this draft. He may want nothing to do with the Radiers and bail until next season (wich would probalby do him some good anyway.) ....

Gruden is choking for what? there is no franchise altering QB coming along this draft cycle. Awesome.

Getting rid of veterans for assets?

The Mack trade still makes no sense since the Bears picks are gonna be in the teens/early 20's.

And getting a 1 for Amari Cooper was a great move, he's not that good, not sure what Dallas is thinking there. Regarding Irvin, he's a veteran on a big contract, no point in him on the team anymore.

I agree on Herbert, i dont see why he gets hyped so much but it doesnt look like he'll come out anyway. If for some reason he comes out and thats who Oakland takes, i'd be ok with that, takes one less team out of the QB market in 2020.

Gruden is doing a great job of tanking softly. They are trying to do is slowly and doing it well. Not sure I have seen this style of tanking in the NFL. Irvin cut is a good one as he was never more than a JAG.

I totally disagree. I haven’t seen a team so blantantly and unsoftly tank ever. This is like Rachel Phelps Cleveland Indian style tanking at this point.

I don't think their original plan was to tank. But once the real games started and Mack was not going to be part of it...the dismantling began. Carr will be the crowning piece. After the season is over he'll be shopped or outright cut. And then the AFC West gets the terrifying prospect of facing AJ McCarron in 2019.
