Keep VJ as the coach, nobody else can come in and give us the best possible chance at a high first round pick!

BTW, did anybody hear DT's post game presser? He basically said that he likes it in Houston... "nobody throws blame when things don't as planned here. We are a real team and have each other's back." The state of the Broncos is in a very bad place. Started with Wade Philips.
Im sure theres truth to something there but hes been there like 4 days. Doubt he has a complete picture of the pulse of that team. But it could explain winning 6 in a row after losing first 3. Theres definitely a culture problem here and it starts at the top. Head coach needs to set the tone, stamp his personality is n the team. Just more kindling On the fire under vjs seat.

If they go 8-8, I think Elway can plausibly say 3 game improvement, he gets Year 3. Id be petrified theyd keep him at 7 though.

And I dont think they hit those numbers, but 7 or 8 might be enough to keep him.

If the Broncos organization wants to prove that they aren't okay with losing, Vance Joseph will be fired tomorrow morning. We have a Bye week and it gives the Interim HC 2 weeks to adjust a few things.

If they keep VJ, we know they are a-ok with dropping games due to coaching.

I think they can prove that by firing him at the end of the season.

Firing mid season does nothing here but satisfy impulsive fans.

I want him to succeed...unfortunately, he is not ready at all.
not sure what the hell saw to hire him in the first place.

He is pretty much on par with Hue Jackson.

If they go 8-8 I think it will also be dependent on what coaches are available.

We're playing for a draft pick now, VJ gives us our best chance at a better pick. I'd fire him after the season is over...its what John will do to.

I like the idea of giving a coach like Tom McMahon a chance to run the team the final 8 weeks of the season.

In the fans perspective, we want them to tank for a better draft pick, but I guarantee the organization doesn't feel that way.

Whats the difference between losing with Vance Joseph or the Interim Head Coach?

Shows future HC that you're willing to allow him time to grow and develop.

Thats how I feel. Were way more attractive to a new coach with a higher 1st round pick. VJ can go at the end of the season.

it's better VJ gets fired now....25 games as HC and no improvement.
Should not make a mistake like Browns.

Stfu already. This is one of only 32 such jobs in the world. It shows you are expected to win. Guys arent turning down the job because some idiot gets fired after going 8-17. It shows an org not accepting failure.

The pick is going to be high regardless. Interims dont come in and go 6-1. This ****stain needs to be gone immediately.

I don't see any improvement in his coaching..Browns gave chance to Hue Jackson...finally, he got fired.

it's time to move on.. hopefully, elway finds good coach in the offseason.

Guys turn down jobs with teams all the time, are you serious?

It shows instability and a GM that has his coach on a short leash.

Top coaches are good enough to know that they can wait for perfect opening.

Of course this is coming from the angle of promoting a position coach over any of the coordinators, like we did with Studesville.
We need two years of high draft picks... no QBs next year!
