http://www.denverbroncos.com/multime...2-b4accb3e0fcb

Broncos CB heights:
1. Aqib Talib - 6.00.6"
2. Bradley Roby - 5.11.2"
3. Kayvon Webster - 5.10.4"
4. Chris Harris - 5.09.0"
5. Tony Carter - 5.08.6"

If the Broncos would have picked Verrett (5.09.4") instead of Roby, basically we would have a midget smurf squad of CB's outside of Talib. Good thing they didn't do that. Just a passing thought. Hope Roby is a good player.
Verrett is not taller than Harris.

It's to no surprise - some people are just incapable of learning and adjusting.

I'm assuming you've never heard of the general eye test have you? Considering you're more comfortable with numbers than actual visual proof.

Then again - it would take someone to know what they're looking at to conduct it.

How could we have picked Verrett over Roby when San Diego had already selected him..?

I argued about Harris height with him for several posts a few weeks ago. He used a college link from years ago. Where I used newer links that proved otherwise.

Not sure how he thinks we could've taken Verrett though. Unless he's thinking we would've traded ahead of SD!

Action is stupid. I used the general eye test to determine that.

From Lammey:

Emmanuel Sanders Is Going to Be a Big Part of the Offense
Running Back Competition Is Wide Open Behind Montee Ball
Orlando Franklin Is a Left Guard Now
Von Miller May Be Ahead in His Recovery
There May Be More Than 1 Answer at Middle Linebacker

Hmm, might be because for the first time we will not have to bring in some crappy left over.

I don't like that comparison, Verrett is tenacious, fast, great instincts, awareness, and ball skills..

What of that does Carter have?

Carter one time had a great game against San Diego. I think Denver fans always give him a pass because of it. He is a good 5 or 6 CB.

His claim to fame was shutting down julio jones and having a good start to the 12' season, since then he's sucked.

Von looks somewhat stoned in that 2nd pic. Glad to see him back to his normal playing weight. Now hopefully he goes off like a fiend and dominates this year.
