Can't wait to see them play the Cardinals for the top spot, though. That will be a game.

There's an excellent chance Carolina will have to beat both Seattle and Arizona to even get to the Super Bowl. I'm in the minority that thinks one of those other two teams makes it.

Yeah. Just not sold. Regular season success in a dumpster fire division is indicative of nothing much.

There's at least a 50/50 chance they bengal their first playoff game.

Well, the strength of schedule (if that means anything) for the Seahawks and Arizona was #4 and #5 respectively. Carolina's was 27th.

If the Patriots don't go to the SB with HFA vs those QB's...
The year of the Defense and back up QB's!!

Should make for close (maybe good) playoff games.

They were injured hacks when they took the Broncos into overtime. After the bye week Edelman and Amendola should be back as well as slew of other starters. Homefield advantage and a healthier team will make the Patriots a tough out.

I will give you that. I think the Cardinals are almost a lock to represent the NFC.

I'm gonna bet a few bucks on Seattle to upset them in the divisional round if the Hawks take care of the NFCN champ in the wildcard. Palmer has never won a playoff game and I don't see that vertical passing offense matching up well in the playoffs and they'll play them 2 times in 3 weeks by then.

For the opportunity to have their ass handed to them by Arizona? Once Denver is ousted (probably in the first round), I'm a Cards fan the rest of the way.

Seattle could be 6 seed. AZ has beat them with some bad qb play past few years and the Seattle D isn't what it was in 13. I think Seattle will be 6 seed anyway. Cards have been the best team all year in the league. I don't see them losing in the NFC.

The Chargers fined FS Eric Weddle $10,000 for staying on the field last Sunday to watch his daughter perform in a dance ceremony at halftime of San Diego's Week 16 win over the Dolphins.
It was impending free agent Weddle's final home game as a Charger. Weddle was "stunned" and "furious" for being fined for what the Chargers comically labeled "conduct detrimental to the team." On Monday, the Chargers placed Weddle on I.R. "against his wishes" after informing him "there is not room on the plane for him" to make the team's Week 17 trip to Denver.

Guess he won't be resigning with them, eh?

OMFG, you kidding me?

Weddle was a class act signing autos for hours after the game in their final home game.

Please come to Denver!

Spanos doesn't give a crap about the fans, San Diego, or even his players.

All he cares about right now is LA. At first I couldn't bear the thought of losing my team but his actions over the course of this year have been nothing but despicable. Good riddance and I can't wait to watch him crash and burn in LA.

Though it would be more enjoyable to see him lose to Kronke, then be forced to come back to San Diego where he'll be stuck since he's alienated his entire fan base and the politicians here.

That is the FA that I want Denver to try and land next year. Not sure it can happen with all the in house players that need money, but he would be the type of player Denver has not had in awhile.
