Default Mock Draft Keenum

Now I that we know Keenum is in place, which QB are we drafting?

Who is Buffalo moving up for?

I think we need to consider moving up if we want to get our guy. Not sure who that is but rumor mill will be huge leading up.

One of the top 4 QBs will be left at 5, possibly 2, but do you are that chance?

My vote is for Josh Allen, especially since we have Keenum.

No just no. We already have the tall, gifted arm qb. JUST SAY NO

So let's not only spend 19 mil per year on a middling QB but let's also waste a ton of draft capital to get "our guy" when none of the top QBs stand out.

You do realize it's going to be EXPENSIVE just to move up from 5 to 2 or 1, right?

If anything, this should allow us to wait til draft day and see who is there at 5, and see who may fall to 8 to 12, and then make a decision on a trade down.

I agree that the Broncos are probably enamoured with Josh Allen. I'd hate to see a trade up, I really don't think the Giants or Colts are taking QBs (but I think the Bills will take one in there somewhere). The smart move would be to sit tight and take who's left. But this generally isn't a team that makes smart moves right now.

Maybe Rudolph will be good, who knows, I just think he's a complete unknown and I don't quite see it. Most of being a QB is mental, and he hasn't been asked to do any of the things he'll be asked to do in the pros.

I think a first round QB is off the table...maybe even a second.

OLINE, CB, and RB are of higher priority need.

I just really think Keenum was brought in, partially, to help with the spread to pros transition for either Mayfield or Rudolph (and Lynch).

Nothing good comes cheap. Itís also disingenuous to suggest no one stands out.

We're All Full Up at QB ....!

Now we trade back to #8 or #9 (maybe w Buffalo); draft Haloti Ngata, and use the 2nd rounder we net in the trade on an O-lineman.

ERRRR.... Vita Vea, not Ngata. Understandable mistake.

I love all the negativity. Good thing the Broncos aren’t clearing out the Mane lockeroom.

Just kidding.

One would hope that we aren’t drafting top 5 too often. Most draft analysts have four QBs sitting at the top. You have Chubb & Barkley too.

IMO we have to go for a franchise QB. Keenum is a vet upgrade for sure. Probably our starter for 2018, unless injury or someone else lights it up in camp, Swag?

All four of the QBs have franchise potential. No, I didn’t say they would be the ‘one’ I just am saying they have that potential.

We need to have the guts to go for it. Elway is that guy & we coached 2 of them up close.

And the reality is LOTS of ultimately solid franchise QBs started their careers similarly to Paxton Lynch. I DIDN'T SAY he has franchise potential, just pointing out how lotsa guys sucked at Jump STreet....

Think about it, if we draft a QB then we would have 4 guys on the roster, I don't see them cutting Kelly and they can't cut Buston. If they stash Kelly on the PS he will be signed away like Sloter was.

I think we are set with QB's for now, plus they still have to move or cut TEAMTREVOR.

If they still want a QB to develop high then look to trade back off 5, take an OT with the 1st round pick and then move back up into the 1st to get Mike White.

That way you get an instant starter and a guy to develop but again it makes no sense because they brought in a guy to develop last year.

Will they still draft a QB in the 7th? Maybe to run the PS during the season but no reason Buston can't do that as the 3rd QB, wait they might want the PS to be effective and might not want that bum running it.

All this does is prevent them from drafting some developmental prospect in the 7th. A top QB is very much still in the cards.

I'm not sure it makes sense to sign Keenum to be the starter and then design a run-pass option offense for Baker Mayfield. It will have to be a large playbook with a pro-style system for Keenum and the spread-offense elements for Mayfield. Josh Rosen might be the ideal target.

Keenum is the Broncos' QB you people are too funny thinking Denver is gong to grab one at #5.

Keenum will receive at least a deal on 3 year $55 million at minimum, probably closer to $60 million.

You don't sign a player like that and then draft a QB at #5.. seriously people...

Why the f#ck would Keenum sign with Denver before FA even starts if he doesn't have assurances Denver is not drafting a QB at #5

2 years 36m -

Not really screaming long term now really seems like a bridge type deal ala Glenon to Trubisky

I think QB at 5 unless Barkley somehow falls
