Mr. Miller
Default Who is the best of the Retreads?

Case will be on the Broncos roster next year. No reason to cut him TBH. Are their any Retreads worthy of working to put on our team?

Jameis Winston- Knuckle head. Has had a flash at one point but not made the Bucks a better team. Young. He could get better- IMO he is a Black Chad Kelly.

Andy Dalton-Took the Bengals to the playoffs a couple of times. Or perhaps it is better said. He went with the Bengals to the Playoffs. Middle Aged. Won't Improve but might be better than case. On the down side-No Soul.

Joe Flacco- Super bowl champion. Owes millions of dollars to Rahim Moore. He always looks sad. He is also Old. He can throw down the field but we don't have anyone who can run that far anyway. If you can't beat out Black Tebow do you really belong on our roster?

No to all of those guys. We just need to draft a QB in the 1st round, possibly trading up to get the top guy.

If we had to I'd go with Jameis. IF he ever matures he has the most potential. But really I just want to draft and develop our own guy.

no on jaimis, stoopidly famous.
flacco had his best season ever with KUBIAK, just sayin,
I am ok with dalton,
keep in mind he has been with marvin all this time...
dude might be a peacock yearning to fly !
we do need a new young QB, maybe a lucky pigeon or some other lucky marsupial can help us pick the next franchise bronco qb, lord knows conventional methods have failed us.

not a fan of any and i don't trust VJ to bring up a Qb although Musgrave would be helpful. if i had to pick it would be Winston. upside and emotion. hopefully he keeps his fingers the rest of the year

Trade for Foles. It's what Broncos should've done last year.

Too many character issues surrounding Winston that go back too far. And when Fitzpatrick comes in and eats your lunch …

As between Dalton and Flacco, Dalton is at least a couple years younger. (31 vs 33) Flacco will be 34 a month from now.

Any one of them could do better than bottom five Keesum!

Still need to draft a guy.

+1, although we won't need to trade for him. He'll be a FA, so we can just sign him.

Nick Foles is basically just another Keenum.

Is the QB premium going to be any less ridiculous next year? If Case is costing $18m a year, Cousins $30m. I can only imagine what Flacco would want with a Superbowl win in his past, 100mil for 3 years? Winston knows he's worth another shot, will go to whatever team pays the most? I'd imagine 20m+ per year for Winston? Even Gingerboy is going to want more than Cousins.

With all that being said, unless we are drafting a new QB high. I'd happily let John pay either one of those guys what they want. Watching this team play with Keenum is miserable.

Dude, these guys have been benched and/or will be released. Nobody is giving them 100 mil contracts. They will be moving into the "veteran journeyman" bracket.

You mean that same bracket that made Keenum $18m? Don't get me wrong I hope your right, but they way agents are going to be playing this up, and the number of QB needy teams next year makes you wonder.

Both wenz and foles looked better, more productive and efficient with last years coaching mix.

Keenum was coming off a career (fluke) year and Elway/Kubiak were dumb enough to drink the kool-aid.

These guys are coming off benchings and back-up gigs.

It's just avg QB money and only a two year deal. I don't think the contract was dumb. Not drafting a QB when we were sitting at #5 might come back to bite us though.

I bet those guys are all over $10M a year and are not real improvements to the team. Foles isn't great either. Bridgewater would be interesting though so he is the only one I would be pleased with signing. I think he is a FA next year as well.

desperation ,urgency and a competitive market for limited talent impacted the decision making process as well.
I think we can all be greatful that cousins did not take our offer under consideration.

It's average money for bottom five production, so it's not great. Also we have had to watch him play so that is another mark in the loss column.

Anyway need to move on - a rookie could be 27th in passer rating and 29th in QBR and actually have some upside!

i like bridgwater too, but I understand he does not have a deep ball to challenge defenses so that scares me in a kyle orton kind of trepidation.
