It's cold today. Crowd is half as big as yesterday. Feels great. They better have a good practice. No excuses.

How does the crowd compare to previous years?

I think the weather scared people off. There might be rain later.

Not a hyperbole when you can say ST's lost at least 2-3 games last season.

According to the Twitter feed, the offense is having a great day, which should be expected when the teams aren't in pads. The last two years the offense was garbage during training camp even before the pads went on. I'm not going to get too excited over the offense just yet, because they simply stepped over a low bar. A low bar that the offense tripped over the last two years. In just two days of camp, they've gone from incompetent to competent. Wait, maybe I should be excited about that.

I think the offense will be decent, with better weapons, a QB with a pulse, and a better line. And an easier system to pick up.

How better, that's anyones guess.

I have to be confident and happy after the first day of camp.

After all, we are UNDEFEATED and in the division lead!

I agree. The offense will at least go from the bottom of the league to the middle, mostly based on having a competent quarterback. The only thing I'm not sure about it a better O line. They are hoping for at least three of the five positions to pan out. Both tackle spots and they don't even know yet who will be playing one of the guard spots.

Now is the time to be unrealistically excited.

I just have a feeling about Hamilton that he's going to be a slot stud for us. He seems to do things his way, but in a good way. Lots of videos of him already doing things before and after practice, putting in the extra work.

Him and Keesum should have a great relationship if Case likes to hit the middle as much as they say.

I already know this group of receivers, backs and pass rushers is going to be good.

What I'd like to know...is how our backup O-line guys look. Is there anyone behind the starting five who can play? At some point this year, it's going to come down to that.
